I didn't even hear this song till BR5-49 covered it in the 90s. They are all experts in picking great music to play.

Elliot "Fucking" Easton. I'm a metal shedder guy, but EE is my favorite player. His tome and feel for a song is unmatched!!

McGuinn's mastery of the 12-string and his musical memory make him one of the greatest ever. His having faith among an industry that often disdains those who do also makes him an extraordinary person. Praise!

Something very special happened there that night during this song, Crystal River. You can see when Tom closed his eyes, the entire band was in that spot where other musicians wish they could be. Tom, Mike, and Ben were so tight that night. Music like this only comes around a few times in a lifetime. I'm just glad I was here to witness it.

Terrific and sometimes he sounded like Dickiee Betts playing for Led Zeppelin.

I think Tom might have been influenced by George Harrison. They were buddies . His music has such beautiful melodies just like George's did.

McGuinn’s Rickenbacker guitar is instantly identifiable. A great instrument.

When I first bought "SweetHeart of the Rodeo" in 1972 ? - I would skip this song by lifting the stylus (imagine?) - NOW that I am OLDER and a "bit" wiser - this is NOW for me a PREMIER TUNE on that WONDER-FULL ground-breaking Byrds Release !!! Forgive Me Please Lord - (and Graham) !!!

Cool song. I think I like Peter Tork’s version better. But taking nothing away from Roger McGuinn.
