Would love to know why the E36 wasn’t so competitive in the German and British Championship. Sure it won a lot of races, but few championships in those two series. My favorite STW ever

Only year it struggled in England was in 1995, when it was run by a team Wartofer, and not Schnitzer. it did win the BTCC in 1992, ( in the 2 door coupe version ) and in 93, came close in 94, was very fast in 1996, but the Audi dominated the series that year, also the Bmw struggled with handling problems that year, they were very fast on the straights, but lacked aero and grip in the corners.

@@fontheking5 from 95 onwards they where fast but never won a championship in Germany where the rules where more free! Would love to learn more from someone of that era. For example in Germany the Peugeot and Opel where competitive and in UK not so much
