I really hope you can give an answer, so I cant get the stop motion-y look. I have the animation started but it has all the tweens smoothing between keys. I pressed T and 1 to set it to constants but it still tweens. Blender 4.1. Any solutions?

possibly, its really not that hard you just make them hold it in mecabricks or line it up in blender and then parent it to the hand. Ctrl P is the keybind for parent :)

Very nice. My only question about MecaFace is what if a character has facial hair or wrinkles or wears a mask? Would Natron work instead of Nuke?

You can create mask for the facial hair so it can move, just like wrinkles. TBH idk what Natron is if you dont want to use Nuke I would use DaVinci Resolve.
