I would like to suggest that there is another demographic out here who are elderly, not wanting to be married or in a romantic relationship at all. I understand this is important for marriages and younger people. Hard for me to want to invest 5 or 6 weeks listening to this. Most of us have lost our loves and it feels like rubbing in our face the thing we will never experience again this side of heaven.

The pastor has done a great job not only explaining the story of Ruth and Boaz but explaining cultural terms that are rarely discussed. I must admit that only had a rough idea of what "gleaning" was until it was explained.
