Saludos.

Nice effort... I would have kept the voice-overs instead of truncating some pieces and in chronological order, but all in all, it's a good representation of the actual soundtrack to this classic French TV documentary. The recordings started in 1974 and finished around 1983, with the official Polydor album being released in late'79, containing the best bits of the first 4 seasons (76-77-78 and mostly 79), some of them augmented and remixed. It's really weird that an obscure film like La Fete Sauvage was lavishly released in DVD and Bluray ten years ago and this documentary has not been officially released in any domestic format (VHS, DVD or Bluray) yet. These 21 episodes could fit easily in a 5 disc Bluray edition...so what are the French broadcasting company thinking about??? There are at least 2000 Vangelis freaks all over the world wishing to buy this.

Definitely NOT Vangelis. This dubstep-like bass drone would never make it inside his music.

Strangely as a kid growing up in the 70's I never heard of New Musik, it was only around 8 years ago I came across them on You Tube. All I can say is Wow, synth, early electronic pop. Even my 12 year old daughter loves them now. They are a hidden gem. It's a shame they broke up.

@@INDUSTRIAL_WOLF Brian ENO is not a real musician, he is the first one to admit it. On the other hand, Vangelis was an incredibly talented composer and performer, one of the best musicians in the world in the last 5 decades. I like both, but come on... They are totally different type of artists.

This was a pleasant surprise for me too, that's what's great about Sparks is that they'll throw in songs from any album instead of other old groups whose live shows are just a jukebox of the same old "classics"

It's amazing that his voice still reaching those notes!? OK, to be honest, it's not as strong as 35 years ago, but he is older now, not 40 anymore. (Born in 1948, October 5, do your own math. Ron: 1945, August 12. This freaks me out 😳!) My fav from the album, which is NOT as bad as some people say.

Can you believe they are going to be 75 and 78 later this year 🤯? It's stunning to me 😮. Me, I'm trying to figure out how to make a tightly scheduled trip to Copenhagen and Berlin from Sweden and back. It's "fiftyeleven" train changes and bus the last night (via OSLO!?, with a bus change 😮‍💨). And THEY go on a tour, from May 23 to July 25. Two months. 🤯😵‍💫 And I will be like a wet spot on the floor after five days 😩

I like mid to late 20th century atonal , avant garde composer better . He wrote all his music for various groupings of classical acoustic instruments . He just dabled with electronic music a bit . This piece here has far too much reverb, bass, electronics & electronic sustain and seems improvisation which is ok , but its not a structured , piece of fine art music (aka classical)
