goddamn incredible, combines the raw edge of the original with an urgency and heaviness i truly did not expect 20+ years later...Gira just gets better, each decade adding a little more experience, a little more thoughtfulness...i really can't express how much i dig this, it's just amazing.

I really like Swans' new renditions of classic songs. I love this lineup, it's just brilliant, it's got the intensity and rawness of early Swans with the musicianship of the 90's period. Anyone knows if they have played "The Coward" live with this new lineup?

He was sooo annoying, putting his hair behind his ear every 5 seconds. The act b4 him was even worse! I cringed to that music the whole way thru...it was so bad. I don't know the names, but u can find out

Just got my ticket for the LA show. Never thought I would be seeing SWANS live. Don't know if I'll make it through the show in one piece.

@gggravediggger Not sure when this one was exactly. They started with Waves of Disaster before they came on stage and then launched into Activate.

@crabsbeitchy Someone was misquoting Alec Empire on Twitter claiming that he said "All Americans are murderers" or something similar. This clip has the quote in context in which he talks about governments giving precedence to corporations over individuals.

Great moment in the show that generated some Twitter contraversy later.

It was a great show. Would have liked to be a little closer for better video, but didn't want to record and be in range of the pit at the same time.

This was an awesome show. Any idea who that terrible opener was? The hipster guy with the laptop, terrible skin, and glasses that were ten times too large for his face, playing second rate rave garbage? Worst opening act ever.
