Just ran across. How beautiful. Everyone sounds awesome. Love the chest bass. Made one in my childhood.

You guys sound great! Is that an old Harmony Archtop in the video? I have a '61 Harmony Broadway that I absolutely love! The bridge is aftermarket and has a bone saddle that adds an almost flat top shimmer on top of that woody mid-range tone. Anyway, just wanted to say again that I really dig the sound you guys make - great playing all around! 👍👍

@@AWorkingMansGuideToComedy thank you! yes it is and I love it.., it was beaten up when I got it… I have stuck a filtertron pick up in it and brought it back to life.

@@theoldnicktheatre2581 Just out of curiousity.. did your bass player use a speaker mic or any kind of pick up and plugged the bass into a bass amp or did he use it just natural as it is by itself and you just recorded your band over microphones in the room? The sound you get from the TCB really excites me! And of course the "precision" of the notes played on the tea chest bass is beyond magic. All instruments are played with great feel and skill, so that a bad base line would mess things up here, but this is almost on the level of a double bass. Really cool. Listened to your music all evening long. Keep up this thing!
