Are these the old Slingerland Concorde Copper Series?

I believe it says Oriole on the side of the floor tom?
@sfmill15 күн бұрын
No. They are Oriollo Bakar drums.

WOW!! These drums sound amazing! I'm just curious, is there any type of wooden drum shells which come even close to this much tonality?
@sfmill15 күн бұрын
Not really, but Walnut also has a dark and warm tone.

They sound amazing, much more tone than most modern drums. The funny thing is, they sound just like Ian Paice's Ludwig kit from Made in Japan, 1972.
@drumsybatabamboom802216 күн бұрын
They do have that pillowy, rich tone like Ian's kit.

I have 1.. and two 8 inch.. by far the best snare ever made. Everyone praises Bell brass and Rosewood. They never played a 1980's cordia. and this tuned correctly..

Amazing!! would you be able to tab this out? This is fantastic and I'm an aspiring 19 yo drummer who wants to learn how to groove!!
@oldenoughtowatchify5 ай бұрын
what he's doing here just kind of comes from his already established practicing and playing here. You kind of find your own groove based on what you know how to play and the songs/beats in your head and also how your body just feels like it wants to play. I can give you a list of things to focus on to start working in these feels into your drumming though! -Bass Drum exercises (if he's doing 8ths to start, try putting 2 eighth notes on the kick and make sure that sounds clean and in time just keeping eights on the hat and the snare on the 2/4. Put the 2 eights on the 1, then next bar put it on the 2, then on the 3, then on the 4.) -Dynamic playing (ghost notes for the snare come from having control over how hard you hit the snare and where you hit it/how you hold the stick too!) -Ghost Notes (snare work comes with practice in the pocket too.) -Snare work (doing your rudiments will help with alternating hands on drums more. I like Para-diddles (left right left left right left right right) to train this more. Start on one drum then alternate to other drums or with other drums) -Linear Playing (it's hard to play 2 notes at the same time but it's also hard to play one note at a time. doing fills across drums or just on one drum one hit one limb at a time can help you feel out the kit and divide it evenly for the different feels of your fills. Fill Feels lol) that's all I have from this video that stands out to me
