This game...Remember when you made a lot of 3 pointers it will the camera will go toward the opposite coach and he would be shaking his head. Or if you made a buzzer beater your team would come running out on to the court. This game was everything to me growning up. When 2k came out I was already older teen and grew out of video games but I would love to play this game again

What a gorgeous game - the size of the players, the sound of the ball bouncing off the hardwood and the sound of the rim are a joy to hear. Plus the dunks are just insanely passionate. Modern games are way more realistic, but NBA Live 2004 has a way to get me immersed in the game in a sense that makes it more real to me than any other newer basketball video games. In my view, a game should not be too realistic in order to leave something to the player's imagination - that's the flavour of older games.

Using todays hardware and Pcsx2 night build software you can enjoy ps2 on 2k or 4k resolution.
