I'd rate it a 6.6, which is better than what I'd give old no7.

There are three Canadian whiskys that you'll NEVER have trouble finding, especially in the USA. #1) Crown Royal - It's literally everywhere and is the single most popular whisky in Louisiana. #2) Canadian Club - Not as popular (or as good) as Crown Royal but also ubiquitous. #3) Seagram's VO - Kind of an older man's whisky but you can even find it in Australia. As recently as 2022, Crown Royal was the best-selling whisky in the United States according to Vinepair with Canadian Club ranked 20th. The Spirits Business ranked Crown Royal 4th in world sales and Canadian Club 5th in world sales for 2023. You'll never have trouble finding Canadian Whisky in countries that drink alcohol.

I think you should add a quick qualitative comment about it as well as your quantitative comment.

As an American who's lived in India for 6 years, I find this to be a nice alternative to something imported from America considering that this bottle is about 20 dollars as opposed to the ridiculous 70 dollars which a bottle of Jack Daniels or even Evan Williams or the 85 dollars which Makers Mark or a better Jim Beam will cost you here with all the taxes or tariffs added up. Overall, I find it pretty enjoyable and without any hangover issues either

You guys have gone bananas from drinking to many whiskeys. You shouldn't be putting a 40 ABV Lot 40 up against a 50 ABV Rittenhouse. You should have put the Lot 40 Dark Oak at 48 ABV against the Rittenhouse.

Morris are in Victoria just below the border with New South Wales. In the south East of the country. Morris is in Rutherglen and they are known for fortified wines, like sherry (Apera) Tokay and Muscat. If you want others of a similar high standard. Corowa using similar casks and geographically pretty close. Another great distillery that hasn’t hit the headlines yet is Spring Bay from Tasmania.

I had a 5th from 1956 and my father drank the whole thing while I wasn’t home, I didn’t even get a drop, I was so mad, I still have the bottle and bag, I told him not to even open it let alone drink it all 😂 and my stamp wasn’t broken it was all in tack never opened

Sounds like there’s a lot going on in that Rye Version. I understand the idea of trying something new but I think tradition is what keeps the bourbon drinkers loyal. I think I’ll stick with the toast, original and 10year

Not sure how I feel about this rule, especially since they don't have to disclose it if they are hiding filler in there. I assume a 15 year old Canadian whisky with an age statement on the bottle means its 100% 15 years old? If not, our reputation is about where it should be. Great video, though. That Union 52 can't be bad.
