Looks great! My mother used to make this, but she would use crushed up Nestlé’s crunch bars instead of the Heath bars and she referred to it as Kahlúa mush

I store it in a glass container with a plastic lid and it’s good for 2-3 weeks in the fridge. You can make any snout you like. If you think you only need a small amount, just use a tablespoon or two of each ingredient instead of the larger amount I use here. It’s equal parts of each ingredient.

It’s about 8 pieces. But it depends on the slices. So if they’re normal (not thick and not thin) it is about 8 cups. As mentioned I have made this with hot dog buns (cut up) and would use only 4 of those. Hope this helps.

Oh no. So sorry. Maybe (like microwaves) newer slow cookers are more powerful!? This recipe is from many years ago. Maybe try just on low and see what happens. Thanks for letting me know. I will I try it on low only and see if that works.

I made this for the first time for my wife, she loved Mimi's Bran Muffin. They came out splendidly delicious. I noticed in the "More" section the recipe it calls for 1 Teaspoon of water for the Glaze but the audio on the video sounds like a tablespoon. I had to add about 1 ounce more of milk when stirring the Large bowl with all its ingredients. Other than that this was a well presented and delightful morning pastry when enjoyed buttered with coffee.

Great question!! I made this for some Madeleines (they’re cookies). That video will be out soon. But my favorite way is over Pasta with Mizithra cheese. It’s a dish they serve at Spaghetti Factory (but I realize everyone doesn’t have one of those in their area). Also great in cookies. I have a video of browned butter oatmeal cookies. And also great in cakes. It makes butter flavor explode. Just a deep rich delicious flavor.

I'm not sure that is possible to stop them from melting - Chill them in the fridge for sure. I actually LOVE them right out of the freezer.
