Honestly as a truck driver who drives an old cabover, I tend to not air horn anyone but young children (only if they ask). An adult trying to get a honk won't get one. These days any interaction with another adult is problematic and it's better to ignore than engage.

@@sheli4239 ok, I have no clue what you're talking about in the last half of that comment. And Age is just a number and it shouldn't matter..I'm 26 and I still arm pump all the trucks. And if youre telling me you won't honk to me when you drive a cabover ( my favorite trucks on the planet) I'd get really upset and angry. This comment really disappoints me. The arm pump has been a tradition for a long time and again it shouldn't matter the age. You're never to old to have fun. This truck really upset me because it's so rare and no one knew what the horn sounded like at the time. So I please ask you if you get a arm pump, no matter how old the person is please blow your Horn. Cabovers are rare and they are only going to get more rare as years go on.

Cab over look really cool, BUT SUCK to sit in. The driver get a chair that move up & down. The passenger gets a very sore back, & kidneys. VERY HARD SET. I know because my husband drives one, & I go with him sometimes. You can see the world in a great way though. It's right in your face. Do miss the open road sometimes.

@@barnesfamily1128 I do agree that most of them ride very rough. I've ridden in a few myself. This is one of the many unfortunate reasons you don't see a whole lot of them anymore. But they are my favorite trucks and I wish more people would put them back on the road. Thank you for watching

Back in the 80's I trucked Christmas trees from my home in Nova Scotia, all down the east coast, I remember seeing some beautiful end dumps, everything polished including the Fruehauf trailer, pinstripes all over, lights everywhere, under glow lights, thanks for the video.

I drove that highway for many years. 18 years i drove on that highway, 10 of them doing reefers up to the Nh line and down to Middleboro, Massachusetts. 😊
