I have some old eyeshadow palettes... I might look at decluttering😢but I definitely feel attached to them. I like the idea of focusing on them and then getting them out

I'm doing a 25-in-'25 project this year. I've got WAY more than 25 products picked out, so it increases the odds of being a success (and there being enough left over for a year-end mini-project, too). Plus, if there are any that I don't finish, I won't feel bad about it; I can either roll them over for next year or toss them if I'm just too fed up with trying to make anything work well enough to be panned. Last year I did a 24 in ‘24 project for both makeup and skincare and tracked ALL my makeup uses. By the end of the year I was burned out and feeling overwhelmed. And I ended up neglecting a large chunk of my collection to finish those PP products. I decided this year to only do a Rolling 10 PP for makeup and only track uses for those items :) we are less than 2 weeks into the year, but I am already feeling much better and more excited about using up my PP items and having more flexibility with the rest of my collection! When I need motivation I definitely stick something super tiny in to see how deep the pan is, no shame 😂 It’s motivating for me when I’m burnt out on a product so in my mind it’s serving to final purpose of using up my makeup! Haha and I do not feel bad about it 😂

if you dislike liquid lipsticks in general, why not declutter them? life is too short to use products you dislike. seems better to focus on using old products you do like

I watch a lot of makeup reviews before purchasing. Now I am able to fit all of my makeup in a small travel bag. I empty it out onto my bed every morning, and i use every product. I actually look forward to it because every product is so amazing; i spent a lot of time into making sure I'd feel that way about each one. And I'm not going to purchase anything else until I "hit pan"! I feel great about it!

Why does it need to be called project?

If you throw that glass pot on top of a flat iron for like a minute it’ll melt back down and make it easier to use!! Also I liked the editing of it! My brain likes things choppy😂

You will love the beauty of jonseon moisturiser 🥰I believe you shouldn't declutter any of your blushes because, the new ones were gifts. Just try to pan two of your current blushes. I got a mascara, a lipstick and a black eye pencil as gifts. So thankful.

I have oily skin too and the only sunscreen that does not feel greasy for me is Missha soft finish one, I've tried so many k beauty ones and I like them all better than western ones but most of them still look kind of greasy

When I de-pot my lipsticks, I put them into an eyeshadow pan in a magnetic palette on my vanity (with eyeshadow and other miscellaneous de-potted stuff). I keep a retractable lip brush with it so that I don't have to get my fingers dirty. I find it helps me use it more often. It works pretty well for balms and bullets, but wouldn't work for liquid or gloss I imagine.
