Your fishing story just had me thinking about how differently people live. I'm half native American and while we don't really have a huge connection to out Native American families one thing did stay with us. We hunt and fish so much that i wouldn't have hesitated with the pigs. Not in the macho man i wont have a problem killing them kinda way. The difference being our family has always passed down a massive amount of respect for nature and the cycle of it. Taking an animals life to sustain ours is just second nature for my family but for some its hard to even think about it. When we hunt we use as much as we can and dump the bones and guts back to the forest. It also made me remember how some people don't know where their food comes from. All they know is the packages at the store that says pork chop or hamburger. It's just a crazy thing i was thinking of after hearing your story. We only kill for food and to get rid of pests never trophies.
