The Chalayar people carry a long, dark history of deceit, betrayal, land grabbing, and murder. At the heart of this evil was Mohammed Khan and his associates, the five sons of Ali Bahdar-Jamshid Khan, Hukumdad Khan, Guldad Khan, Mirdad Khan, and Madad Khan. These men were given refuge as refugees (ghar maroose) by a generous family, yet in return for this kindness, they committed the ultimate betrayal. They murdered the very family who sheltered them. The land known today as Macna Mehra, where the markets stand, is stolen land soaked in the blood of the innocent. Mohammed Khan himself hailed from Kamroti, Kotli, but he and his sons conspired with Ali Bahdar in one of the most sinister plots in history. Together, they poisoned and slaughtered the noble Sayed family-people who had shown them nothing but compassion. The depth of this treachery is almost unbelievable, but it reveals just how deeply rooted the evil within the Chalayar people runs. Even today, the main criminals, Guldad Khan and Jamshid Khan, continue to roam freely, their crimes unpunished, spreading the same darkness their forefathers wrought. These people are cursed by Allah Himself. Their actions mirror those of Yazid, who mercilessly ordered the slaughter of Hussain (a.s) and his family in Karbala. They are no different, and their sins will continue to haunt their bloodlines. The descendants of these murderers must live with the knowledge that their forefathers were among the most vile individuals to ever walk this earth. The evil they started will have a grim and inevitable end.
