Why are u sanding and laquering when u have no dials, no motor, no wiring, no plumbing, no g box, no solar etc. What goes in ur dash is dictated by all these things and it will change several times before u finish this boat. So ur doing the unnecessary. Where are all these main components? Have u chosen any of these things? Do u even have a half plan for these things? We dont know any of these things because u havent told us. Sorry to be harsh but u mumble to much too. I would love to see this through but so far stuff has only gone out, when are replacements going in?
@Kingswift5552 күн бұрын
@BrentonEllard Thanks for your comment,, your absolutely correct. I should have shown this, the dash is being used as is and new dials, which I have do fit. I need to get this ready and the inner panel ready below the control panel. I will mention this next time, thanks for your opinion. I do take it all on board.

A turn turbine in below the bow, that thing must turn like a brick.
@Kingswift5559 күн бұрын
Yes it will do the job but you are correct, however what cant be seen is this unit has twin turbine props where on most there is only a singe, I need to replace the motor with something which can really give them the RPM they will need,,, Thankyou

Having to replace all this cable seems rather expensive. 🤑

So, it doesnt have engines? Do u have original engines etc? Also throw all crap out of the boat u dont need or u will be moving it every 5 mins. Forget all boat wiring for now until u fully frame out and know where every thing is going to go. Just put temp fluros in every room for now so we can see what ur doing. Going good mate.
@Kingswift555Ай бұрын
The engines were removed around 2017 by the Boat Owner Michael Barlow who raced the pirate, they went in to a yacht called Galmara Moored in Lowestoft V8 360 BHP Cummings images.app.goo.gl/nPpyUu3czkjAaZHC6

I think you might have a famous yacht there. If you search for images of a Brooke Marine Ocean Pirate you will see a few of one competing in offshore races bearing the number 323. The pictures of that boat clearly show the access hatch you have which I don’t think would be a standard feature on production boats. I’d weld up that deck hatch and instal a watertight hatch in the bulkhead, keeping the space as a chain locker and retaining the crash bulkhead.
@Kingswift555Ай бұрын
Thank you I had the information prior to purchase, I had to make sure this was the one. I now have the registration and can confirm this is 323. I will make a video of this boats history in the next week. Only possible legal issues stopped me from doing this in case I was wrong.
@Kingswift555Ай бұрын
Thank you, I knew the history but had to confirm this is 323, I now have all the logs and the history and will complete a video on just this alone in the next week.

that hole in the bow looks to me like its for the anchor chain and or windless or anchor
@Kingswift555Ай бұрын
It was made for an anchor but never used as was fitted with a top mounted winch the steel brace is still in the bow

This could be good to watch. Can we have a bit more info on the boat. Size, model etc? Wheres the engnie room, whats in it? No boring long drone shots. When u show us through the boat tell us where u are and dont miss any rooms. We all love a good boat rebuild.
