Great job! My dad had an earlier 10 horse Hus ski. They were known for breaking drive chains. Always needed to carry a spare chain and some repair links. The sound of the motor brings back memories for me.

I would love to drive one of those old sleds again... I grew up in the 1960's riding these wonderful snow machines of the day...I drove the old skidoo sleds, foxtrac, ski-daddler, Polaris colt 10 hp, arctic cat panther, Rupp...these videos brought back great memories of growing up in the '60's...the older I get, the more I appreciate those days...

I was born in Pointe-Claire, still live there, my father was a Husky dealer, 200, 444, Diablo Rouge and Sprint or Sprinter I forget ( a more conventional type ), I was 13 to 17 years old back then drove them all, really liked the 444 above all, replaced wooden traction bars by hockey stick handle, the company was a mere 7 milles from my father’s business, great memories, when Bolens FMC stopped making them another sled company moved in, again memory fails me but I think it was called NorthStar
@buildwright118 күн бұрын
That's some great info, do you have anything left from when he worked there?
@claudecousineau581118 күн бұрын
@ my father was a dealer actually it was a hardware store, my father was pretty open minded, I don’t even think we have pictures, now I’m 72, when I turned sixteen I loved to fiddle with motorized thing à ma jig, knowing what I know now I could have modified a Diablo Rouge with the help of the company hind sight is 20/20

Do not buy anything from Aolithium. I ordered multiple products from this company that reflected they were in stock. The company waited until the date I was suppose to receive the products (almost 3 weeks after I placed my order) to tell me they are no longer in stock and haven't refunded me my money.

Got mine Friday.. Just curious if the LCD display on yours turns off after 60 seconds or stays on indefinitely? My units have red DIP switch blocks and the LCD won't go to sleep mode.

I bought 6 of these and moved from S-550's as well - the difference is not even worth mentioning - night and frigging day. Going one year on them and they have performed incredibly well - hope you have the same experience!

I wish we could comment with pictures or video. I didn’t want to take a chance on messing up a $150 battery. I took the dead batteries and put finishing nails in the negative and positive and hooked up the Schumacher charger. Waited until the light turned green. Maybe half an hour because I let it go a little longer. Disconnected everything and put it on the Milwaukee charger. No more flashing light. Waiting till it stops charging to see what happens.

Not actually battery reset. Shows charge cycles. If you count the pulses it will give you a count of how many time it was placed on a charger as a 4 digit number. Can't count above 9999
