What a little cutie! 🥰🦔 They are definitely noisy eaters but they sure love their food; I usually mix dry cat biscuits in with half a small tin of meaty cat food that has a gravy or sauce. Can always tell when the hedgehogs are just outside eating as they like to crunch loudly on those biscuits! 😂

I think this poor fox has mange and should be treated as soon as possible before it gets out of control.

I was thinking the same thing. It's very hard to tell from the angle and distance of the shot, it's possible the fox has slightly raggedy ears from fighting and a patchy coat because her winter coat hasn't come in yet. I've treated mange in dogs and it used to be (ten years ago now) very difficult to treat. It was a series of ointments or lotions that had to applied regularly, sometimes along with oral medication--i.e., not really a feasible treatment for wild animals outside of a dedicated wildlife rehab facility. Apparently, treatment is alot better and easier now, and can be administered through a one or two time oral medication, usually mixed into food. So it would be possible to treat Valentina for mange, if the photographer can be sure that she will eat food he puts out for her. A more experienced eye than mine should diagnose her first. Mange is awful and never truly goes away, just into remission.
