I think Russell, is perfectly fine, first class driver, who has everything it takes, to become a future WC! Never mind, a team leader! Damon Hill was like that 30 years ago in his second season of 1994! He was the more Inferior driver, compared to the legendary Ayrton Senna, but after Senna's tragic death at San Marino/Imola he was left with the job of being team leader, yes he got knocked out in Monaco but, went onto to win Spain and nearly that years championship, proving that he might not be Senna, (but he could lead the team, from Coulthard) if schuey hadn't been a complete d**k and, driven into the side of him at the final round at Adelaide, breaking his suspension and indirectly taking him out the race and making him loose the 94 WC!🤬🤬🤬 And I think, that spelt the beginning, of the end, for Hill's career, as he did not win the next year either but, he in 96! But, by that time SirFrank had lost patience with Damon and he lost his seat in a competitive car!🤬

Russell is way more a leader then hamilton, just take a look at the Belgian gp, both wanted a 1 stop strategy, but only russell managed to get the right information and took the right decision when hamilton was just a spectator to his own race. And theres a lot of examples of this through out their years as teammates. For an example, when hamilton took pole in Hungary in 2023 he was the only driver who didn't manage to take the decision on his own to pit for different tyres, I mean even Logan Sergeant managed to do that.

Not in the next season, but for 2026 he don't want to be at Red Bull.. the chances to get a decent engine is basically zero, Red Bull powertrains is the only one engine manufacturer with zero formula 1 and zero common engine experience..

IF russel can get his concentration to "not break" under pressure, a feat he has shown to be a problem for him. so russel had best start seeing some psychologists and getting that issue fixed only then will he be capable of winning a WDC and right now with the mistakes he makes? it seems doubtful of that ever happening. the reason toto thinks he may be able to "land'" max to the team is because of max's father Jos. Jos is a d!rtbag and HATES horner and would love nothing more to see his kid leave red bull and drive for mercedes.

Russell isn’t ready to put the team on his back. He hasn’t shown that he’s any more than a number 2 so far. I hope it changes but the mistakes are too frequent and that won’t be lost on Toto. Antonelli would really challenge him. I’m not sold on the Verstappen to Mercedes theory either. Should’ve signed Sainz and put Antonelli in the Williams for 2025-26.

@@richardwood9177 are you fr? the boy was on pole and he took the win at Austria.... 🤣🤣🤣he already started to have a problem on lap 10, the car let him down he had a water system issue within the car, so because the car lets him down, it's his own fault? Wow well I'm all turned around on that now.... Thanks!!! seriously though he's been outscoring Lewis regularly, he's a little too quick for his own good if anything.... you lot criticising him have nothing, no real evidence to go on, I heard one guy even say dump George and let Kimi Antonelli take his seat.... keep watching George compete at the top is all I can say.... (forgetting his F4, F3, and F2 championships), which he is doing, first time LH was even near the front of the grid in ages, Lewis was lucky George had car trouble, (although I was happy to see Lewis win again to be honest) they suspected George might not make it at the start due to an intermittent issue with the car, which unfortunately for George came to fruition.
