All these poor people are only native land R Canadian citizens.. Why? What's going wrong in the country?

Best and most liveable places are yaletown, kitsilano and granville island in vancouver. If you intent to live in vancouver, highly recommend u to stay at these places in renting home. Bicycle culture, sports, walking, running , going to stanley park, taking fresh air of pasific sea etc..in silence and peace environment. But mostly too high rate of renting home's cost at these places due to being best places in Vancouver.

To be honest.. I had no idea that Vancouver had this problem. I'm from LA and we have Skid Row there, where it looks like a third world country. It's very sad, shocking and disturbing, especially to those not from there. In a way I'm used to seeing that kind of level of poverty and drug use though. I've lived there my whole life and there's so many homeless in LA in general. I know San Francisco has the Tenderloin where they have this problem too. But perhaps since I've never been to Canada or Vancouver before, I just always thought it was much nicer there. I've always wanted to visit Canada and still hope to visit Vancouver one day, but this was a bit eye opening to me.

New Westminister BC Canada was so much better back in the 40s and 50s and 60s so many stores downtown to shop at...Now look from the 1970s and the present time No were to shop downtown. Just no were to go downtown. I grew up in New Westminister in the 50s and early 60s.

Thanks for your words. I was born in late 60's and my parents moved to Vancouver during the Expo 86 from Moose Jaw SK to escape the harsh winters.

Ive always thought of Vancouver as a more beautiful more civilized L.A and I’ve always wanted to visit, I had no idea this was what was really going on down there, what a shame, I guess I’ll just stick to visiting Quebec over and over again.

I appreciate the compassion in this comment section. I so often hear people judging and being hateful towards homeless people. In this economy, the only difference between housed and unhoused people is luck

A esquerda é isso, DESTRUIÇÃO, onde passa deixa miséria, famílias destruídas, que pena de vcs que deixaram e acreditaram na esquerda, se continuarem votando neles, um dia todos vcs serão miseráveis.

Trashy Vancouver. People standing around at New Years watching that stupid steam clock even though it had the wrong time on it. Lame. Wow they put some strings of blue lights up as the main attraction, whoop de doo. Does anyone there speak English anymore?
@ExploreVancouverCanada15 күн бұрын
That's right, man. I stupidly looked over the City's clock showing 10 to 12, but it was about a minute to countdown. None of us was able to speak an English word. Shame to be a Vancouverite.
@zeballos575715 күн бұрын
@ lol. Sorry but that just shows you how pathetic Vancouver has become. Especially if like me you have lived here for decades and remember when it was somewhat decent. People used to get dressed up, go for dinner and then to the clubs. All I see is people wandering around in sweat pants. No class.
