can you provide some more info on what gear you use to weld aluminium? That's the only thing I can't fix on my land rover right now
@CMFotoPeak2 ай бұрын
Hi, the welder was something I borrowed that could do aluminum (Sigma Galaxy 400). It did an ok job, but definitely hard to do right on thin sheets. Unfortunately I don't remember what settings was used. I tried welding aluminium with TIC but that was not a success either.

The broken gearbox pieces may be from the 1st gear synchromesh hub as I had the same broken parts on mine and it is not really visible without dismantling the gearbox. There are three of these sections on the hub altogether and it still seems to operate OK with just the one. It's where the brass synchromesh cone engages with the hub.

Hi, Looking back at it, the bulkhead was indeed a pain to fix. New bulkhead here costs a fortune so the repair was the way at the time. Very soon final paint and time for reassemble of everything.

Hej.
@CMFotoPeak5 ай бұрын
Hej Jacob.

There's some great content in your videos. I'm in my 50s and I'm afraid after a few minutes of my eyes trying to stay focused, I'm headed for a headache. I've noticed it with a lot of younger folks now that my eye rolling abilities are starting to fade. Swinging cameras and switching focus back and forth between near and far subjects makes it unwatchable. I appreciate your primary skills are in what you are doing not presentation, and editing and so on is very time consuming, but I'd encourage you to work on that aspect to showcase what you do because as I said, you have great content, skills and knowledge to showcase. All the best.

Question! How deep can the drone go and still see what’s on the bottom? Does it ever get too dark?
@CMFotoPeak9 ай бұрын
It can go 100 meters with current cable. Light is not a problem as it got great bright front lights. The biggest problem i find is bad visibillity because of bad water conditions ( algae in still water can makes it impossible to see anything.)
