Someone commented my nails looked good and I said oh they’re kiss from Target. She said oh Lee Press On nails with disgust. You just said they looked good. 😂 Then she said go get acrylics Uh these were $7. Cashier in Publix said they looked good too!

I’m actually curious, how do you dry your natural hair after these washes
@simplyylanice8 күн бұрын
Great question- I literally hold my blow dryer to my roots in sections and my braids underneath are completely dried. Then I’ll go in and air dry the sew in.

I really need to do this. Every time I get nails I get cut or burned and it has never been relaxing for me. I love having them done though because I feel so pretty.

Great video, but am so uncomfortable with the idea of using the nail drill. I really don’t want to damage or thin my actual nails.

Won’t the pink polish be wet under the gel polish? Because the uv light doesn’t set regular polish right?
@simplyylaniceАй бұрын
So I made sure to do a thin coat of the pink polish first and then gave it time to dry. Then I went over it with the gel top coat.

Fabulous video 🎉! Btw I wanted to say I hope your lamp is powerfully enough to fully cure the gel, these small ones tend to be just for flash curing. Last thing we’d want is a gel allergy 🙆🏾♀️

This was such a good videoo. Wearing my press ons as we speak. All my life going to salon I would only get 1 color bc ANY design is too expensive already, so I'm happy to be able to choose. SHEIN has a lot of designs. HAHA I am the same with the nail question, my sister in law always compliments my nails and I feel so goodd, she keeps saying I need to do hers too, bc everytime she does press ons they look silly. The key is in the cuticleee, I always press my nails under the cuticle and it looks amazing. Right now they last me 2 weeks and a half, but I js ordered nail dehydrator, clear builder gel and gel top coat. The design always chips away rn for me so I'm excitedd to use the builder gel and top coat to make them hopefully look salon quality and shine. I heard if you file the inside of nails AND add dehydrator on both your nail and the fake nail will last even longeer. Your nails turned out amazing!!
@simplyylaniceАй бұрын
Yes! I started doing a top coat to prevent the design from chipping away

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t relaxed hair considered high porosity?
@Spic3gurl2 ай бұрын
Relaxed hair is often high porosity. Porosity tends to increase with the use of chemical relaxants in the hair.
@simplyylanice2 ай бұрын
In many cases (like mine), relaxed hair can have normal/medium porosity instead of high porosity. I just wanted to educate other women who have a similar hair experience to mine on how they can continue to care for their hair at home.
@simplyylanice2 ай бұрын
@@Spic3gurl Ideally, you want to find the right balance of moisture when you have medium/normal porosity hair.
@keturahbethel69662 ай бұрын
No but it it is more likely to be higher porosity
