I don't like anything that deals with non-existent life. If there's no life to creating a video, I don't want to learn it! I am more realistic than putting virtual and augmented reality first. I don't even care if you find this article or topic offensive. The human hand is the creator of any kind of virtual and augmented reality but not life itself!!!!

this is such a great app, how it is still unknown widely. I hope there's the mobile app version to create the project, it was a bit difficult to maintain the position of the object when we are using the desktop mode in mobile browser. I'll explore more👍

In my opinion it’s time to let Estonia be a nice small Nordic country. Estonia very deserves to be a Nordic country, because Estonia has done a lot of work, we have many smart people, we are good at digital things, we have northern lights and we are very similar to Finland and other Nordic countries like: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Greenland. We are not similar to Latvia and Lithuania and the other Eastern Europe countries. It’s time to stop calling Estonia Eastern Europe country and Baltic country and forget all this terrible, rude and mean Soviet times. Let’s just stop this Eastern Europe and Soviet stigma thing and let Estonia turn the new page and let them be a normal small Nordic country next to Sweden and Finland!!! Estonians call themselves the Nordic country and many other people and tourists had also said that Estonia should be a Nordic country, because Estonian people are Finnic people not Balts and we are more similar to Scandinavia. Yes many people had agreed with that Estonia must belong to the Nordic group and seperate from Latvia and Lithuania. They don’t even need these countries, because Estonians communicate more with Finns and other Scandinavian countries. Estonia will be a very good partner for the other Nordic countries. We will do a very great work and we will be very strong!!! 🙏😊

Doesn't work properly with more than one target.
@Overlyapp2 жыл бұрын
Hi Randy! Could you please drop us an email at [email protected] to explain more about the aspect that is not working? You shouldn't try to scan multiple targets at once, that is true, but there is no limit as to how many targets you can have. Also, you could use the multiple video feature to add up to three videos to the same target if that's what you are after. Will look out for your email. Elīna @ Overly

How do I should export a 3DS Max scene with objects and materials to be recognized with materials on the Overly?
@Overlyapp2 жыл бұрын
Hi Maxwell. Apologies, we just noticed your comment. Our guidance below. You can export Overly compatible .glb format from 3dmax by File/Export/Export On dropdown "Save as type" select GL Transmission Format(*.glb, *gltf) File format should be: GL Transmission Format(*.glb, *gltf) And checkbox "Export gLTF Binary (.glb)" should be checked. Click "Export" Tested on 3ds Max 2023 Kristaps @ Overly

Hello there. We are just currently planning our next set of features with trigger buttons in the pipeline. Please keep follow our news updates for this.

can the fbx files have animation on them? - in other words can the character be moving and speaking in the AR experience? And can you scale up the fbx object so that it is large - like human size? - I realize that initially you would have to pull back the phone to see the character once you triggered the experience but that would really be neat - thanks

Hello, Mark! Thanks for the great questions. Although Overly supports animated 3D models, the BETA 3D tool does not at this point. It is one of our next steps. Currently we put these experiences together manually for Business subscribers. In terms of the size, you would have to align the 3D model with your marker image more or less. If your marker is a size of a business card, then 3D content shouldn't be human size. If you were to create something like that, the user would not be able to step back and view it, because with marker-based AR, the marker image has to fill at least 50% of the mobile phone's screen. However, if you were to create a large piece of street art where the user can indeed step back while keeping the marker in camera view, the AR content could appear to their size. However, we'd say that creating large-format AR experiences are best done with markerless AR. At that point you can dismiss the real-world rules of size, gravity, etc. We will offer this option as part of our WebAR offer launching soon. Hope our answers helped. 🙂

why would i, as a customer, want to download an app to see a marketed content? this is not the future of ar. webAR or native android/ios ar is
@Overlyapp2 жыл бұрын
Hey, seriouslyWeird. Apologies for the super-late response, bet we're now back online with our social channels! Our answer still stands, both technologies have their pros/cons. We are also planning to launch WebAR in due course, but we don't expect the solution to replace app-based experiences. You have to provide value content for people to download or pop open a WebAR experience. You can read more about the comparison from our CEO here: overlyapp.com/blog/webar-vs-app-based-augmented-reality-is-there-a-winning-solution/

Hey, Salim! Apologies for a bit of delay in getting back to you, only just noticed the question for some reason!? The augmented reality application that reveals 3D content is the Overly app. Blender is the most popular option for creating the 3D content itself. And we do have a step-by step blog on creating static and animated 3D content here: overlyapp.com/blog/how-to-create-3d-content-in-blender-for-mobile-augmented-reality-projects/ Let us know if you have more questions. Always can get in touch via e-mail as well at [email protected]!
