My chair instructions asked me to install the dowels myself which is an IMPOSSIBLE task! Very disappointed!! There is absolutely no way to get them in by just “hand tightening” them. I feel like it needs a tool of some sort and you can’t use a screw driver! Thumbs down

Product so far is good. Service and QA is awful. Missing both legs for a rocking Adirondack chair I purchased. Only 8 pieces to this chair and two are missing. Takes 5-7 days just for a response never mind getting the missing pieces delivered. Called Polywood and it was a 41 min wait time. They say best way is to use the chat box. More like chat BOT that gets you nowhere. Step up your customer service

Hilarious they don’t even show the set

We seem to be missing a LOT of pre-drilled holes….and the ones that are pre-drilled aren’t centered and don’t line up well. Guess we’re taking these back!!

It would be nice to see a demo of the adjustable back, to view the different positions and ease of change....reliability of not slipping out of position.

where are the video assembly instructions for this table? My table does not have pre-drilled screw holes for the legs. Need to know if that is normal?

On your site, you only offer this Vintage finish in three colors: Coffee, Sahara and White. In another YT video, you describe the coffee color as being dark gray. The set in this video is brown (a chocolate brown). It isn't at all gray, and it's certainly not Sahara (which a light brown sand color) or white. What is this set? It's not Coffee, is it? It doesn't look at all gray to me. Thanks!

IMPORTANT: in most cases, the parts will not fit easily into the holes where they are supposed to go. They make the holes the exact same size as the part that is supposed to fit in. Sometimes even smaller that the part. Therefore, the part does not fit. If this happens, you have to sand the edges of the part so it does fit properly into the hole. Even if it fits partially, the screw will push it in all the way. However, you should not screw in the part if it does not fit into the hole or you will break the thread and the parts. I would recommend sanding the parts enough so you can fit it manually completely into the hole before you put the screw in.

Wow, that is amazing. I want more Pollywood deck furniture. A wonderful way to use our waste plastic.

Some of the screws and holes you can easily access and use the t hex provided or even a 4mm hex drill bit. Other screws are right up against a piece of Polywood and you can only turn it 1/4 turn. Very tedious and painful on the fingers. Also the boxes are NOT easily broken down. They use so much tape for shipping you have to completely destroy them to break them down.

I just ordered a HIPS Adirondack chair off Amazon (made of Poly Lumber 😞). I thought I was getting pretty much the same thing as Polywood, but after seeing this video, I realize that I made a poor purchasing decision. The good thing is that I only bought one chair, and my goal is to get 4 and a table. Needless to say, the rest of my set will be genuine Polywood. Thanks for developing a process and a product that is truly helping our environment!
