Do you put the pressure regulator between the pump and the valve/T assembly? I presume that's a good spot or it could also be put off the T to the hand sprayer. Would like to see the video, part 2, where you lay out the parts for the pressure regulator section. I like what you've done in this video .... because I hate plumbing ... so many options!

Do you happen to have the part number for the nozzle body with the built-in check valve? I have a 2.2 GPM/70PSI sprayer I'm looking to make a boom for. Great video!

The swivel and handle are both spec'd as NPS thread instead of NPT. Did you put an o-ring at that interface to prevent leaks or was the PTFE tape enough?
@Spraysmarter5 ай бұрын
I would suggest using the o-ring.

Would you happen to know what size the threads are, we should be able to provide parts for the wand, send a picture to [email protected] and we will see what we can do.

what type of pipe are you using for the boom itself?
@Spraysmarter11 ай бұрын
We recommend schedule 80 pvc or steel pipe, you can also use square metal tubing up to 1-1/4", there are clamps for that as well.

Can I add 4or 5 48” extensions together. I’m trying to clean the eaves of a second story house. 2:19 would that work with a 12 V sprayer and which sprayer would you recommend?
@Spraysmarter11 ай бұрын
Yes, 48" is the longest TeeJet carries, I personally think most of them are equal, but I recommend you look for one with at least a 3 gallon per minute pump.

My order arrived today, and with one exception I am very pleased. I recommend ordering the 114445A-3-CELR Spray Tip Cap instead of the part in the description. The part Cliff uses has a shaped center hole made for the TeeJet nozzle, but it fixes it in place. The 114445 part has a round center hole and will allow you to rotate the nozzle as needed. I was able to modify my caps with a small half-round file.

Just what I was looking for. I live in Germany and placed an order to build two spray wands. The CF valves with 11/16-inch threads on both ends are available from a U.S. company called Oesco.

I want use only the two end nozzles, is there a way to turn on the inner nozzles?
@Spraysmarter Жыл бұрын
That would require a valve at both ends or make them individual sections with a manifold, you could make one from a cross(CR038) then attach a valve for each nozzle. Banjo makes a manifold but it has 8 outputs(TM075/050).

Great video. How do I know how far apart my nozzles should be or how high should I have the nozzles from the ground.
@Spraysmarter Жыл бұрын
Typically you would want a 20" nozzle spacing 20" off of your target, no more then 30".
@chrisyoung806211 ай бұрын
If you're using a Teejet tip, they tell you the optimal spacing and height from the ground for each nozzle type. It's all in their catalog. As Spraysmarter replied, most of the fan style tips are 20" and 20" or a 1:1 ratio.

Used one of these in 1995 in OR close to where my friend's Dad invented them. I wish they'd pay someone to review them and correct any flaws. I recall it was tricky to fill, may have dripped and was not ideal but seemed to work maybe 70% as well as you'd hope. I tried to make my own, it dripped (probably killing non-target plants). The old style seemed to be pretty low-tech, the reviews on Amazon aren't superfluous. Wish this thing could be my go to. Maybe get an engineer on it.

By the way thanks for the videos. There is just some stuff that doesn't make sense. When you save your first profile as the 90ft, your sections are put in for a 90 ft guidance width. But when you switch to a guidance width of 60ft wouldn't you need to reconfig your section settings as well before you save the profile?
