From a "what to do & where to go" perspective, I think following the prescribed route south and back around to New Vegas is the most fulfilling. You can find a way to squeeze past a crack between the Deathclaws and Super Mutants to get to New Vegas (and area) immediately. But I don't think this gives the most satisfying play-through. Then, for me, it's a matter of getting the best weapon. That's the Ratslayer and All-American. I grab Ed-E in Primm and Boone and Novac and then head north to Vault 34. By the time you get all the way around and through Vault 34, you will have made it through quite a few levels, picked up decent weapons to beat the very challenging Vault 34, and now have the best VATS weapon in the game and the best early/mid-game sniper rifle. Now you can slaughter the Fiends, ghouls, and pretty much every other enemy other than the heavily armored ones (Cazadores, Deathclaws, etc.).

I’ve met every faction and been liked or idolized by each of them at some point. I’ve stopped giving any f for the legion as they are just bunch of jerks. Been hunting and wiping every camp clean of them. I was idolized by ncr but now am a punk to them and do not know why. At lvl 22 am venturing into the dlcs to cool off before ncr pisses me off any further and get themselves wiped off the map by this mad woman. Did honest hearts, Meh. Am thinking the blues is next based on your video. Thanks.

No matter when I start the dlc's I always make sure to do old world blues before dead money so I can do the agility glitch. If you get the glitch then do OWB it will take away the glitch, but if you do it the other way you can keep it for the rest of the game...except if you let the BOS strip you down.

This is a fantastic video. So much so, that I completely abandoned the progress of my first playthrough to restart and play in this order. My only question is this, when doing the faction quests before lonesome road, won’t there be a breaking point for each of them because each one is vying for my allegiance? Should I just stop a faction quest line when I get a warning that another will be targeting me if I keep going? I have played through all of the other DLC’s so LR is the last one on the docket. Not exactly the game leaves up to you weather you engage or not for example you can engage the Bos but leave them unchecked every faction will have a part to play in the battle for Hoover damn all the big ones at least . And no you should stop Allie your self with who ever you want then make another playthrough to see how that turns out lol your first playthrough should be organic , all based on your irl morality . Once you decide what to do with everyone do lonesome rose then head back to finish it off . Let me know if you have more questions 🙏
