I once had the Prophecy back in the day, this sounds better than I remember the hardware did.

The 8Pre is also a great expander for the 16rig. just connect it via ADAT. It's worth noting the mic pres on the 8Pre are better and you get one on every input.

Wow. The stereo effect at 14:50 blew me away. Such an amazing sounding synth.

I have an EX-8000 and I can confirm that this plugin sounds very accurate side by side! I’m just getting started with it really, but I’m pulling up old Performer files from 1987 and it is a great option for in the box replacement of my old DW-8000 sounds.

I played the Trident in the KORG showroom around 1980. Of course I couldn't buy it, but this VST brought back memories of that time. Trident can't make any unusual sounds, but the depth of sound is unmatched by any other synthesizer.

Excellent sonics!! Concerning MIDI inputs? Don't see it mentioned anywhere.. is that on the expander.. surely velocity and program changes are highly usable on a digital multi timbral synth? ..
@synthanatomy13 күн бұрын
MIDI is on the expander yes, but program changes etc, is less a thing in Eurorack, it's more about CV/gate ;)
@nanopolis12 күн бұрын
Hi ! There is a midi TRS A/B type input on the expander, right now it responds to notes, pitchbend, velocity, aftertouch, modwheel, ( and soon more CC).

watch the entire video ;) it's a personal project and not made for the public yet. Because mainly it's not yet clear if its allowed to share the patch as there is no hardware support for Reaktor patches.
