@ez-fixit40449 ай бұрын
Nunca me ha pasado eso,pudiera ser que el estéreo esta dañado o simplemente no es compatible con el vehiculo

Wondering what gage writing you're using? I bought 16 gage and it seems too thick to fit into the slots. Also, it is visibly thicker than the original wiring

Hello! Thank you for asking, I try to use SPT-2 18-2 but this time I was using SPT-2 16-2 AWG as you can see in the video it's a bit hard for me too to insert the wire through the bakelite plug. Today many of the comercial cables for foot controllers are SPT-1 18-2 because (I guess) it's cheaper but those cables get tangled or badly twisted easily. SPT-2 it's thicker insulation than SPT-1

Good job EXCEPT don't use a steel wire wheel brush with a rotary tool for anything else except to remove rust or other corrosion. to light sand the metal parts use instead a brass brush head then finally the correct polishing heads.

This is the laziest brake and rotor job I have ever seen. Hanging the caliper by the brake hose is just stupid. Not brushing and cleaning away the obviously rusted and horrible condition of the wheel hub and contact points with the rotor...using a screwdriver to push back the pistons instead of using a c-clamp....no greasing of all contact points on the brake pads and brake pins....lol....this is real amateur stuff right here folks

What worked for me, passenger side cold driver side warm, even tho the ac fix gauge would read near the yellow ~50+psi you need to go into the car and press the throttle and let the car run at ~1500rpms for a minute and when you come back you'll see it drop to 35-40psi and you can fill in more refrigerant. 40-55psi is in the acceptable range for the low side reading on a ~90 degree day. In the end the issue was not enough refrigerant but because the gauge read full I was hesitant to continually fill it up, when you go to an AC tech they just suck all the refrigerant out, weigh it, then refill it to spec so they know exactly how much is in there based on weight not pressure.

What is the purpose of disconnecting battery? If the water pump broken then it might be good idea to replace thermostats at the same time to save headache in the future.

Well.. I guess cutting the power it's always a good safety measure, I was thinking that if the power is on, someone could play a prank on you starting the vehicle and if the belt is still on you might get an unpleasant surprise and regarding the thermostats yes it would be a great idea

How does it save time as opposed to the traditional way of pressing it back? Is it easier to get off? Just curious
@ez-fixit40442 жыл бұрын
For me it's easier to push the piston back while the caliper it's there, vs using a clamp to push it back when it's out, try it and find out what it's easier and faster

After detecting a weephole leak on my 2018 Civic EXT with 117,000 miles, I had my Honda Service replace the water pump, drive belt, and coolant. I also had them replace the PCV valve. Total cost: $1,045. Money well spent.

Lexus/Toyota has so many issues with these actuators on so many years/models of their vehicles it's pathetic. There should be a factory recall to replace all these defective items for free.
