Awesome project! Looks great! I have a bit of advice however: - Try threaded heat set inserts instead of screwing straight into the plastic, this will lead to reliable reassembly without stripping the holes - The lanyard strap is only held by the horizontal layers, that is most definitely a weak point and is not secure

Hi, it looks cool! I've always wanted to add such a cool light bar to my skateboard so it can change lights as I jump, will this board allow me to do that?
@gokux.21 күн бұрын
@@Carla-Guo actually not you need to have accelerometer sensor for detecting the motion and trigger the lights . It require a completely different circuit
@Carla-Guo21 күн бұрын
@@gokux. I see, thanks for the answer. And is it possible to combine motion detection with WLED? I really like the variety of nice lighting effects that the WLED software offers.

Great little project. If possible i would have made it so you could still access the esp32 to uodate the code. Or add some OTA code in there so you could do it ucer wifi.

Unless you’re messing with DHCP, DNS, or other settings regularly that affect the client devices this seems pointless on modern routers. If you are messing with those settings then chances are that your router has a scheduled reboot option where you can pick a day and time on repeat to reboot it. Personally I’ve never had to reboot my router outside of a setting change that required a reboot and it’s been in use for 4 years now. Same goes for my older routers as well. This is a cool project that I could see other uses for though.

What is the purpose of the transparend oled if there's a black plate covering its back anyways?
@gokux.6 ай бұрын
@@slabua The reason why I use a transparent display is definitely not its transparent quality. I felt this display fit the project very well. The main reason for this is the external driver board and the long ribbon cable. So I was able to attach this display to the 3D print very easily. Also, this transplant display offers a nice reflective quality that makes the display look good even when it's off. Many people say that this display is expensive. To solve that, I am making another model in which I am going to use a normal display module. It will help reduce the cost of this project. When I put the display on I really thought I could see the interior but the visibility is very low

Any estimation how long the 600mAh battery lasts between charges?
@gokux.7 ай бұрын
7 hours, but the code is not optimized to maximize battery life. It is feasible, but due to other projects, I had little time to work on this one.
