For those of you who practice Shamanisn, how do you tell physical ailments from a spiritual ailment when someone is complaining of real or perceived pain?

The hardest part is i started mt pre altar. Havent done anything yet the shaman who is helping me is telling me they are not happy because my altar is too small for all of them. And yes she kicked out the fake ones who isnt here to help me but their own agenda. She told me I need to make a new one and make a upper level and middle level for all them to fit so i can sleep in peace. Feels so weird and so many confusing since everyone starting all different.

I'd advise against anyone wanting to set up an altar without guidance to feel better. There is a high chance you will attract hungry ghosts into your private space and even your home. I've seen it happen ALOT, where people felt better at first but now, it has quadruple the pain and more issues leading to mental health and seizures. Once you set it up there's no take back - u must upkeep it, or otherwise. In the meantime, if ur in pain and believe u will eventually proceed with the journey someday, burn 3 joss paper & 3 incense, let them know, we are humans and timing is not good right now - if they are real shaman guides, they will give u the time and even help where needed, so if u need 10 yrs, say 10 yrs, and so on, if it partner is not supportive, wait til u both are in a good place, trust is everything, and having a supportive partner really makes your journey a bright one. If need be, seek a energy healer to help stabilize ur pain. But please do not go raising a small side altar without guidance - very dangerous.
