Just purchased a railking bag. It's definitely big enough to accommodate my over the road conductor needs. There's a few changes i would make pocket wise, but all in all, it's a pretty good bag. Seems durable, and the no bs warranty is a nice plus. I'm just glad i dont have 2 bags AND a lunchbox now.

It's a little bittersweet to think about now but we sold it to a collector that is restoring it a couple years ago. Was still running at that point though.

The 1050 CORDURA Ballistic nylon we use for this bag is only available in black from our suppliers. Producing it in the 1000wt CORDURA nylon (the fabric we use that comes in multiple colors) would be not be advisable. We do have other large bags such as the Expedition Series Duffels that are quite roomy and currently come in 13 different colors www.redoxx.com/search?q=expedition&type=product

In the case 4 Freezing Cold Climates / Seasons / Temperatures / Weather should any of y'all happen 2 crash land somewhere Freezing Cold even though y'all were heading/traveling 2 some place else best/better 2 store the more Insulated Nalgene Bottles AKA New School (More Modern) Canteens in both Water Bottle Side Compartments/Pockets since both Water Bottle Side Compartments/Pockets clearly/obviously ain't/aren't in any way Insulated!

I bought a used CPA off eBay so I could try out Red Oxx. It's built like a tank but has some things missing, but now I see I have the first version. The upgrades on this one make me want to get the updated CPA.

It looks like a fantastic bag and solves a lot of problems campers and travelers would have, but $450 for that bag is wildly out of the price range of pretty much everyone. That' the most expensive bag I think I've ever seen, topping even Black Ember, WANDRD and other niche brands. You have to bring that price down, it's killing the potential market of customers.

You get what you pay for with a lifetime product such as this which is sturdy enough to carry heavy tools such as wrenches. The cost of manufacturing in the United States is also a great deal higher than importing product like the other brands you mentioned.

@@RedOxxManufacturing I've already dealt with top-tier bag manufacturers who "guarantee" a lifetime warranty on their products, but it's not reality. WANDRD for example, does not honor their warranty terms, as well as several others. At this price point, roughly the cost of a laptop or a phone, this bag is wildly out of the range of 95% of the people who would use such a bag. Not in 2024, and _definitely_ not in 2025. I'm not suggesting you change your price, you clearly market the top 5% out there, but it's a very narrow, niche market. This is the same design as the Skyroll roll-up garment bag from 2 decades ago (I still own and use mine), but with sectioned pockets along the inside instead of a suit/shoe pocket. What makes this bag so unique that charging the premium price is necessary? People are not paying for the warranty, so what _are_ they paying for? Genuinely curious.

Thanks, I only wanted to know the difference between the Gator and the Micro manager and it was apparent. My wife has a Lil Roy which, for some reason, I’d thought was a micro manager until I just found a review with photos on the micro manager showing an external pocket :-)

There are a lot more uses for these than you might think. Their beauty lies in being designed as a rectangle unlike the dime a dozen duffles at REI and other places. Rectangular changes everything - packing cubes fit perfectly (assuming you choose reasonably compatible measurements). Most importantly, if you pack reasonably rectangular (these are soft sided, so you can’t just dump in stuff or they’ll assume the shape of the unorganized contents), the XS will fit a personal item sized luggage size testing box at ticket counter or gate, and the S fits a carry on luggage testing box. I use the XS to hold my 15L daypack with my winter jacket - since my actual carry on bag is a backpack, it’s important that my “personal item” doesn’t look like a backpack too (even if it is defensively sized properly), plus inflight I need a little more space than a small daypack provides by itself.

I used to be against packing cubes, until I purchased a set. Now I'm a convert! I love the organization they provide. I have two sets of the Red Oxx packing cubes. The quality can't be beat.

Looks good, it's like the big brother to the Gator which is one of my favorite bags. I wish this had a larger version of the outer pockets like Gator. It could fit a can of bear spray nicely , could call it the Montana edition =]

Love the Sun Chaser! I bought one last year for our trip to Bermuda and used it as my carry on. It holds a lot. I crammed everything in there and didn't need to worry about busting a zipper or the strap connectors. You can't beat the quality of a Red Oxx bag.
