This is in many aspects the perfect anthem. The lyrics contain every single a prosperous nation needs.

The only American Neo-Apartheid leader from Virginia standing for 2025 and beyond is me, Noah Tarabek! But I'm not from Afrikaner descent. I'm only an American who's interested in Apartheid history for educational reasons. So, yeah.

I never much like the anthem, or the tune. However, I was amused to see that Mugabe had to stand for the tune at an EU-Africa summit some 20 years ago, because Ode to Joy is also the EU's anthem.

Did any other bantustan tribal states have anthems? Anyone want to tack sample lyrics from this to the current South African national anthem?

May I suggest the following translation (my own)-bearing in mind that what is sung here is a 1773 Dutch versification of a sixteenth-century French original from the Genevan Psalter, itself a metric translation from the Hebrew: Prais'd be our God with deepest awe! He daily loads us from His store Of tokens of His favour. Who shall refuse to sing the praise, Great majesty and perfect ways Of Him that is our Saver? This God gives us restoring grace; We're satisfied before His face, Eternal life possessing; He can, He will, He shall supply, Until our very death is nigh, The fulness of His blessing.

As your local zimbabwean, i can confirm from my long gone father and Grandfather that zimbabwe is a Shithole, especially because of the Matabeleland Masscre, where mugabe killed MY PEOPLE, Yes im Matabele. He killed my people and he did it to others, as he believed Shona was the only good ethnicity of Zimbabwe, and not any others from Manicaland and/or Other cities like Hwange, Gweru, Kadoma and more I wish rhodesia was here.. my life would be so much better than this if Rhodesia made the right choice and didnt accept the Lancaster House Agreements Love to Rhodesia and Ian Smith, From Bulawayo, Zimbabwe Edit: Father and Grandfather died in the Massacre. mother told me everything. her and i were on a vacation to south africa, i was 8 at the time (it was around 1987) we got back and father and grandfather were dead on the floor and i was traumatized, i still get therapy to this day

The fact that Apartheid South Africa was the only country to recognise this country's independence, whilst The U.N. urged other countries to *not* recognise their independence is ridiculously ironic.
