Depending on your lifestyle. If you’re mostly in the city, trams and buses are pretty good. But if you live or work in the suburbs, you probably need a car.

Somewhere along the way, where you were, lost faith along the way. I was mislead by what signs were shown to me. I then reverted back to myself and not be mislead by the church and its leaders and followers. All had their own agenda and they were never there to help or hold your hands . They were just hypocrites.

Hi Chris, I am a student. I need your advice on renting properties. Did you stay in airBnB’s when you arrived in Melbourne to hunt for apartments, or did you have a temporary set-up before moving?
@iamchrisyap6 ай бұрын
Hey mate. That’s deffo one of the few options. We were fortunate enough to have friends that were willing to let us bunk in with them for a short while.

The city's growing population and high demand for housing have led to rising prices and limited availability. It's important for individuals to research and plan ahead, as well as consider alternative options such as shared accommodation or living in outer suburbs.

I'm a Malaysian and there are many of us who have migrated to Australia since the 1980s due to positive discrimination measure favouring the Malays in Malaysia and for economic reasons. For instance, Australia's Foreign Minister, Penny Wong, is Malaysian-born. Many former Malaysians are now leaders in their fields in Australia. My wife and I were also thinking of emigrating to Australia in the early 2000s. We visited Melbourne in 2003 to check out properties and just to get a feel of the place. In the two weeks that I was there, I was called a fucking chink by an Australian couple in a shopping mall, and also racially harassed in the countryside. Compared that to my previous long stay in the UK where I was a British Permanent Resident and had lived there from the 1970s to the 1990s, I was only called a fucking chink once, and that was by a group of punks I was passing by. But as they were quite egalitarian, calling other people fucking wankers, I let it pass. Suffice to say, we never migrated to Australia but to Singapore instead.
@My_Secret_ArtSketchbook27 күн бұрын
😮 I now know that chink is a bad word I am so sorry you went through this. Illitetate people living unconsciously I am glad u went Singapore. I have yet to see that country.
