So quick question, I see this knife not in a box but in flat packaging. Does it only come in box?

I use the reverse tanto black mamba from Ned floss and I adore it, perfect size imo, I like reverse tanto’s for edc’s and it’s budget friendly, D2 steel, to deploy and to close is smooth, I’ve used it as my edc for about a year now and it took a while to get it up to my standards of sharp, but that’s my fault as I was using a diamond stone exact same as worsharp except I bought mine 10+ years ago when they were blue instead of yellow 😂 (I need to buy a new one) and I use a strop ofc. But for $35 it’s hard to beat.

I paid $45 on Amazon for this knife. If you can get it for $27 it is totally worth it. You will not be disappointed.

Full flat grinds are a thing of beauty. They are the most versatile grind. And the oldest grind. They are my personal favorite. I love the BPS Savage. It's my current favorite edc fixed blade.

If the knives have been on fire its a good bet the heat has ruined the temper of the steel. The knives will be useless

? Chinese steel? Just asking.

Ok so I have one of these and I've got a couple questions. 1 Whats the flipper design called? And 2 maybe a strange question at face value but could it be considered a switchblade? Obviously there is a difference between an assisted and an auto, however usually the legal description of an assisted flipper knife stipulates that the flipper has to be actually attached to the blade where this one isn't. It's got the thumb studs so there's that going for it at least but ya. Just figured I'd ask in case anyone ACTUALLY knows.

I got a pair of those 2100-7 scissors from an estate sale for $1. I cleaned the rust off of them, sharpened them on my Atoma 1200 grit diamond stone, and now they cut amazingly. They go through paper towels like nobody’s business. That was definitely money well spent.

I bought the bg model when I was young and naive, the edge didn't hold and the built-in sharpener was worthless. I gave it to a buddy a year later but kept the ferro rod, still have it, the most useful part of the knife. The pocket knife was better.

Great review, JT! I work at Walmart and happen to work in Sporting Goods, so I always got my eye on the knives and stuff we get in. I recently lost my pocket knife I been carrying so I'm currently in the market for a new one, and I love the lil budget knives we have. They stand up well to the more expensive competition and can take a beatin' and keep on gettin'! Glad to see someone showing 'em some love. If you haven't seen the Swiss Tech knives we carry right now (Gerundet, Wurdig, and Stalhern), I highly recommend those. They're my favorite we got in at the moment, and would love to see you do a review of 'em!

Picked one up today as it is starting to look like the local Wallyworld is not getting more Ozark Trail knives in. I'm running it backwards and clipped into my right front pocket since it's a belt vs pocket clip. Seems like pry bar sturdy tho. Might stipple the handle.

Gerber eventually saved this knife. The Ultimate Pro is almost indestructable. Believe me, people tried. It had better steel, a full tang and other improvements. Sadly, by that time BG was no longer popular and they discontinued it about 8 years ago. It went from $81 to $148 on secondatry markets. I picked one up when it came out and I am glad I did.
