In the end, mindfulness and meditation were the things that helped me change bad habits. I had to get out of my own way. The workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels was helpful.

I don't know if this is relevant...about fictitious memories. Research shows that the ppl most susceptible to false memories have a tendency to wards dissociation. A coping mechanism reported by victims of sexual violence. False memories do not only afflict those who have been traumatized...ppl with stable backgrounds also struggle to distinguish between experiences they had themselves, and those they absorbed thru someone else's stories. Geez, can we not trust our memory banks? I need Dr. Bessel to answer this...thanks!

What about if it's not over? What if the trauma continues year after year and someone is indeed in danger several times a week?

Mexican people believe in "un susto" which means an experience where you felt extreme fear, and believe your spirit gets stuck, reliving the experience. You need to call your spirit back to your body. Chanting to me means speaking to yourself (spirit). This sounds like that, except in a scientic way. 😊 I believe the science but the spiritual side also.

Be the best you can be, and love yourself. Find strength in loving God outside of a religion, and inside of yourself. This is what I do on the daily. This comment is meant to be helpful so please accept it that way, or reject it. Blessings!

I did the did the same I am going blind in my left eye , due to Cancer but I did not want to have Cemo and could not afford the sugery but Manage because I have a positive out look in life . Now I did not need to be told this. I wanted this and knew there was no other options. just concern that as Human being we are loosing the ability to think for ourselves , build confidance , we need to hear and be told by others.
@running4fun8636 ай бұрын
Dr Joe Dispenza says the same things, just shows the needs for someone else to tell you how to be driven, motivated and have desire to achive great things. And to be a decent Human being , yet most of us are looking for quick fixes . Most of these should come naturally to us , this is how the Brain and Humans are desighned but some are willing to work hard , some just give up. Have we lost the ability to think and apply are human gut feeling.

I re-watched this video that I commented on a year ago because someone criticized my viewpoint. I am rewatching the video and I double down on my comments from last year. Dan with his 95 IQ knows perfectly well where all the disinformation misinformation and lies are coming from. I don't think I'm really calling him out because I don't know what his political viewpoints are, I'm just disappointed that someone whose work I enjoy would talk the way he does in this video.
