I'm reminded of a scene from Doctor Who, in which the 12th Doctor takes a guitar (and a Sherman tank) to the Middle Ages. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6jSiKJqeM2Mq7M

This is really increadibly beautiful. I'm a poet, and it's been making me think of a poem I want to write, gives me deep thoughts. There's been such a wave of "bardcore" and medieval versions of songs, and while some of it is just some fun, some of it comes out so wonderfully, like this. As a previous commenter said, it shows the real beauty of some songs, and makes you want to listen to them again. Creep is a funny song for me, and I've found some really beautiful versions of it out there, and I don't like the original version of it as much, to be honest. It's funny how a song can manifest in different ways for you, how it's a beautiful song to you, but you hear that beauty more in other versions.

"Such a lonely fort, and it's mine The most loneliest fort of all time Such a lonely fort should be banned It's a fort that I can't stand The most loneliest fort of all time The most loneliest fort of all time Such a lonely fort shouldn't exist It's a fort that I'll never miss Such a lonely fort, and it's mine The most loneliest fort of all time And if you fight, I wanna fight next to you And if you fall, I wanna fall with you, too Take your cape and walk away" I wanted to song write a little an ran out of ideas, than I thought "Hm maybe someone else wants my bs and have some ideas and I can edit them in if wanted 😅"

Definitely some Daft Punk - Doin It Right, vibes. Though upon investigation, it looks like there are lots of songs with similar scaling or whatever the proper musical term is.

There’s a dame who is certeyn all that glist’r is gold, And she is bicominge a steyreway to Heofon. Whanne she getteth thider, she wot, gif the shoppes ben all clos’d, With a worde she may finde what she cam for. Ooh, ooh, and she is bicominge a steyreway to Heofon. There’s a tokne on the wall, but she wolden be siker, For thou knowest sometimes wordes han twey meanings. In a treo by the broc, there’s a songbird who singeth, Sometyme all our thohtes ben mysgeven. Ooh, hit doth make me wondren. Ooh, hit doth certys make me wondren. There’s a fele I get whenne I loke to the West, And my gost crieth for leavenge. In mine thohtes I have seen ringes of smoke thorugh the treows, And the voices of tho those who stond lokinge. Ooh, hit doth make me wondren. Ooh, hit doth certys make me wondren. And hit is whispr’d that soone, gif we alle call the tune, Thanne the pipere shal lede us to reason. And a new day shal dawen for tho that stond longe, And the forestes shal echoe with laughter. Oh-oh-oh-oh-whoa. Gif there’s a bustel in thy heggerowe, be nat afeerd now, ’Tis but a sprynge cleene for the May Quene. Yea, ther ben twey pathes thou mayest go by, but in the longe ren, There is tyme yet to chaungen the wey thou art on. And hit doth make me wondren. Ohh, whoa. Thy heved doth hum, and hit wole nat go, in cas thou dost nat know, The pipere’s calling thee to joinen him. Dere lady, canst thou hearen the wind blow? And didst thou know, Thy steyreway lieth on the whispring wind? And as we wend on down the wey, Our shadwes taller than our soules, There walketh a dame we alle knowen, Who shineth whit light and wolde shewen, How all thynges yet turnen to gold. And gif thou listenest verray hard, The tune wole comen to thee atte last, When all ben one and one is all, To be a rocke and nat to rollen. And she is bicominge a steyreway to Heofon.
