One of my most favorite hikes. I love that view of the mouth of the Pinnebog River. I have about 2 dozen photos of it on my phone. My family has a place about a mile from there. Why fly to Fuji and when have paradise right under our nose.

I was in Frankenmuth with my wife and two sisters this summer. We arrived June 30th and left July 3rd. I'd like to go back someday. I suggested to my wife, that we should go back for our 10th wedding anniversary in October of 2025.

@@ranger1959ful Frankenmuth is a fun place to visit and enjoy. They have a lot of events and festivals through out the year. My wife and I enjoy our trips there all the time. @@riversandcoffee Thanks Jim. Actually our plan was to go down the road to Port Crescent State Park and go for a hike but when we got to the trailhead a bunch of hunters were coming off the trail so we decided to hold off hiking until hunting season is over. Have a great Sunday 😊

@@riversandcoffee Thanks Jim. Riverview Nature Area was a pretty hike, especially by the river. Best part not a soul in site as we got deeper into the woods. We definitely got our steps in and we did work up an appetite. We stopped in Frankenmuth on the way home and got something to eat and a hot cup of coffee ☕️. Have a great weekend buddy. 👍✌️
