An incredible amount of work. This is like an Eames and Kisho Kurokawa collaboration 😄👌 Cino Zucchi speaks about this same problem but solved through the lens of pre-modernist architecture. These are flexible spaces with expressive facades meaning that the space can always be reused and the building is always loved. However in some instances, Zucchi’s approach won’t work and this more aggressive approach makes more sense.

Hi David! I'm Dame from Indonesia. Your thesis is so damn cool! The circular economy is needed right now due to our using material that is too much waste. I wanna explore more about this topic in my thesis. So, may I use your thesis as my reference? Thank you.

Congratulation this thesis is inspiring :) I will only focus more on the material. Maybe wood or laminated bamboo is a better option. A tip: check the work of cradle to cradle buildings in Europe

This is a great thesis on a lifecycle of construction. Modularisation has gone out of style in favour the unsustainable economy of cheap labour, form-work construction method and high-real estate demand in the past. Circular economy in architecture talks about that. Also noteworthy that the practice of architecture impacts the local government, buyers, investors, capital ventures, developers, building tech, and contractors, which stakeholding needs and challenges requires a circular economy to address any gaps or re-writing of their roles in the CE. Great that this push for a better Construction Environment comes it at Master Level work, ought to be continued in Construction Tech, as part of a career of research & practice. Well done David Nee and Supervisors Azari Mat Yasir and Razin Mahmood.
