Also, if you have monster lures that match the type you’re trying to group together, that can also help with increased battle numbers for high JP numbers.

Yes! It doesn't show the x1.7 multiplier in the battle end screen but its applied

I really like how Square made it so JP doesn’t scale with the area you’re in or enemy levels, which allows you to get insane amounts of JP in starter areas. But, to balance it, you get very little EXP, it’s a fun system. Good tutorial!

Just put em in the corner then pop a people pleaser. You'll have around 20-30 encounters instead of 8-10.

I kinda like how monsters dont despawn after some time when they run from you. Its so funny seeing the monsters huddled into corner waiting to be slaughtered..

Thanks! This is awesome. Further efficiency data: 3x starts at 7battle. And if you have people pleaser you can just trap 4humanoid monsters and you have x3.

Good video, but it actually caps out at 6 rounds, with a x3 multiplier. So it's: 2 rounds = x1.1 3 rounds = x1.3 4 rounds = x1.6 5 rounds = x2 6 rounds (or more) = x3 This is based on my experience farming in that northern valley area that you can do to very early and using the food that lures enemies. I was able to get as many as 7 rounds in 1 battle there, which still just had the x3 bonus.

You can get way more than 800 every 5 min just by using snacks and spamming chain fights. You don't need to lure like this. It's slower. With a snack 1 fight = 2-5 fights and it takes 0 time to set up.

I rather just fight the special mini boss monster, specially the one in the dessert, I don't have to set up anything, is easy and I get EXP JP and GP plus Defender swords which can be sold above 1000GP

The Lenean Sith (flower girl) can be done around 15 with decent gear. The Mususshu can be done near level 20-25 for a decent farm. This method here should be used if you wanna do some grinding during the prologue when maxing Freelancer is very helpful. I did one round of this grind every sidequest session and got max Freelancer in a few hours using the corraling method.

@@soulreaper_night57 I just managed to kill the Lenean Sith... I was on average level 13... Body Slam from the Freelancer job saved me. With the best equip at that level you can do 1000 damage even on mages. Still was a hard fight and took a few Phoenix downs since it hits pretty hard.

My farm spot its better than yours. Exactly the same method but with acuatic monsters like the ones are in the beach of Halcionia and with fresh fish I can get 13 consecutive battles and 1475 JP. XD XD Also I cant push Y button only eat the fresh fish and the heart of the enemy appear. I accept your LOVE jajaja

@@anttheknee1372 Its in the first beach outside Halcionia. Turn right of the castle and you see some monsters: all are acuatic type, flans and lizards men. Go for all of them and accumulate at the very far corner of the beach when you see an open chest. Well, lure all of them with fresh fish and DONT HIT THEM WITH THE Y BUTTON!! Only wait at the heart appear and one of them come to you and instantly the chain secuence battle appear. Defeat all the battles again and again( the number of battles its determined by the number of enemies you accumulate at the corner) More enemies = more battles XD XD

This is unnecessary. Just use Monster Treats to get yourself into continuous battles. Should only take a couple battles to get one and once you start, you'll get an endless supply so you can do as much Continuous Battles as you'd like.

Holy moly, that is very helpful. I need those jp for the one job i will not spoil where your subjobs BP abilities cost 1 less. Also, Neo Cross Slash is so broken. You can literaly have 3 Vanguards and a Bard and just do around 20k damage per person. Better yet, Default Piercing from Berserker and Bloody Minded so you can't miss, gg

I have a few monster baits but not enough to really farm as much as I want to. Where do I get those monster baits from? I didn't know what they were when I got them, so I don't remember where they came from. tldr: where can I farm monster bait?

The bunny enemies that are in the same map space up north can drop the beast bait!

The monsters you kill typically drop the kind of bait that they prefer! This method is kind of self-sustaining.

The abilities are per character AFAIK, so keep them all when farming!

How close are they to each other? The first time I tried this I was only hitting one or two because the others were a pixel or two too far away.

They have to be close together to activate the consecutive battles. You can use food to lure more enemies in battle

What difficulty were you using in this video. I saw on another video that on casual diff. you get more experience than regular so might even be able to bump up the gains even more.

You can also use the right monster 🍖 to chain battles. It's pretty easy and you don't have to herd as much. I was able to max out the battle chains like this every time.

Seems like a huge waste just corraling weak monsters. They have really good conial awarreness. If they see you they run in the opposite direction so in a field full of monsters they scatter to wind

For sure if can be finicky, but if you find a decent spot to make use of it doesn't take much time, and much faster than fighting one by one in a to-level area!

That's why I usually use the beach. The slime things and fish people have a much lower detection range, so they're easier to manage
