Ayeee after i read the books Cedric became my 6th fave character in the series. He beat out Newt as my favorite Hufflepuff 😍 in the books i could totally see why Harry was crushing on him bc same!!!! It was so heartbreaking when he died 💔💔💔💔💔💔

After the books, Sirius became my 8th fave character of all of HP. He just had so much more content in the books & was so much more developed. In the books since I was picturing a hot young man, I totally could see how some people ship him w Harry, altho i didn't. He was the father Harry never had and it was heartbreaking when he was taken 💔 as i was reading, i knew he’d die already but i was still hoping he wouldn't. I so badly wanted Harry to live with him and his bf Lupin 😭 I love the actor, but its just really too bad they cast an older man to play who was essentially a man who was 35 yo (super young) :/ they did this with Snape, lupin, & harrys 21 yo parents too. Why cast such old ppl to begin with? I feel like making the characters so young was intentional bc the series was meant to be read by kids... and then they made a 65 yo hagird have black hair. Hagrid was supposed to be more of a Santa character: old, large and jolly. & McGonagall was only in her 50s... but they cast a woman in her 60s. I just have high hopes they’ll rectify this in the HBO remake.
