Point boy I agree with the comment of sweet lime being for floral arrangements. If you had added a pic of what you purchased then we could let you know if you have the sweet lime for making floral arrangements and not for fruit bearing.

I checked on the Internet and there is a plant called Sweet Lime that bears a citrus type fruit. On the video at 11 minutes and at 13.45 you can see the plant.

Pointboy, I know sweet lime to be a decorative plant 🪴 it's not for eating but the leaves are used in floral arrangements, the leaves are small and smooth, I am pretty sure you would have seen it in arrangements but not know it. My mom used to do floral arrangements so she bought a plant to cut down on having to buy.😊😅 Now I am not doubting there is an actual lime called sweet lime but the one I know is decorative and not for eating.
@pointboy12Күн бұрын
Many years ago in Barbados I was told about sweet lime that was used for creating hedges, so I know there is a decorative plant with that name. However the people at la Vega assured me there was a plant with that name that bears fruit.

Hello Brian my friend, I am glad you went to Friar’s Beach in St Martin, I am happy you got to Enjoy the Water & took a Dip in the Sea as well., I was last there @ Friar’s beach back in July of 2003, I was all booked to go In November of 2001 but we were Attacked sept 11th 2001 and I was in the U.S. Marines., at that time., so we were at WAR., so my visit to Friar’s beach in Saint Martin was canceled and pushed back to after march in 2003., but got a few weeks off of Combat Training duties in July of 2003 before we headed to Iraq for the start of the War Ahead., After 2 weeks in st Martin with some fellow Marines who were also on the trip with me.. We had Wonderful Memories and Time Enjoying a Bonfire Feast every night at the hotel., before we said goodbye to St Martin and Hello IRAQ .., and did enjoy the Underwater Sculpture park on your video also,because they won’t there in St Martin when we Visited.., Thk you, Stay strong and stay safe. God Bless…! 👩🏾🦳❤️🇹🇹🇺🇸🌈🌎🦋✝️👍🏾

Whenever I see these attractions on other islands. I ask myself. What are the Tobago tourism department and business community doing. Because there is so much money to be made in tourism. If only the business community would see the opportunities . All Tobagonians want to do is fight down every idea to bring tourist to the island. Take away the beautiful beaches. Tobago has nothing interesting after that. Hence not much tourists. They haven’t gotten out of the backward mindset. It’s 2024. New ideas a more innovative approach is needed.
@pointboy1214 күн бұрын
You are correct that Tobago is behind the other Caribbean islands in terms of tourism. However Tobago has more to offer a visitor than just beaches, indeed Tobago has more natural attractions than several islands. Tobago outstrips St Martin in terms of rivers, waterfalls, historical attractions, museums. The other islands focus on what they do have and develop it. Both Givernment and business work hard at building and promoting a tourism product.
