@@pspboi7235 When I went, I had to wait in a line with other people who also had the 12:30PM tickets and we were able to enter the Museum at 12:30-12:35PM. It seemed that I couldn't get in the Museum before 12:30PM if I wanted too. I live in the US. The big Suepr Famicom Pillow fit into my regular sized check luggage. So it wasn't hard for me to bring back but if the N64 pillow won't fit then I'd recommend getting a vacuum sealed bag for it to save as much space as possible. Some hotel staff can give you one and wrap the big plush for you or some Japanese arcades have vacuum seal machines to get you a bag. That's my best guess for the best way to travel with the N64 plush because that one definitely seems to be the hardest to travel with. I hope this helps!

@UltraNurtureАй бұрын
@@JacobAU The Super Famicom Cushion simply fit into my regular sized check luggage. But I’ve heard it’s a bit smaller in height to the Wii Remote but I imagine the Wii remote could’ve fit diagonally into that same luggage. The Nintendo Museum itself cannot ship any items for you unfortunately, and yes you are allowed to bring any of the big controller cushions on a plane with no problem. If you’re unable to fit the Wii Remote Cushion in your luggage then I’d recommend getting a vacuum sealed bag for your Wii Remote cushion. I’ve heard Hotel Staff can put the big controller cushions in a vacuum sealed bag for you although it depends on the hotel. Many Japanese arcades have vacuum seal machines to get you a bag if a hotel can’t get one for you. I very much appreciate you commenting and I hope this helps!

If someone wants to buy big famicom pillow at museum’s gift shop you need aim for morning entry, otherwise the chances are very low it will be available later during the day. Overall I have a mixed feelings about this gift shop… if you want to buy a merch regarding specific console gen or Nintendo early years - this shop is for you. Otherwise if you want to buy general stuff related to games and switch - there are stores at Osaka Kyoto or Tokyo that are better supplied… I do recommend to buy Nintendo T-shirt as each store has its own
@UltraNurtureАй бұрын
Well said! My entry was 2 hours after the opening and I barely got the Super Famicom plush and there were no Famicom or Wii Remote plushies when I went. The Museum does mainly focus on Nintendo Systems and not Nintendo Characters/Games. I was able to go to the Nintendo Store in Osaka while in Japan. I do agree that the Museum's Gift Shop isn't perfect and could be better supplied but since it just opened, I think it'll get better as time goes on.
