Is this a homemade sort-of-thing or a local cable company's SD service that is behind the times?

I believe Kate Smith has a distant relation to Captain Matthew Webb, the famous swimmer.

I grew up listening to this wonderful lady and her patriotic music. It was such a better country back then. Now it sucks.

I absolutely love your project here! By any chance do you plan on running a radar stream that cycles Canadian cities? Or adding them to the current rotation? I miss the weather channel dearly and nobody seems to be recreating this with places I can actually picture or remember. If not it’s all good, you still earned a new diehard fan in me!

That's odd how they had the old weather channel logo in the top left corner and the new one in the bottom right corner.

Bring her back!!! Kate Smith is banned because she sang a song with 'racist content'.... that Paul Robeson sang; and wasn't banned or called an uncle tom. Yet Judy Garland the darling of the LGBTG+++ sang in blackface and that is perfectly fine because she was a child and all drugged up by the studio elite. Give me a break.

Man I remember I would fall asleep to this every night and be scared awake sometimes by the loud beeping of a severe thunderstorm warning. They really need to bring this back as a channel on TV, and if not on the TV, then at least KZbin. It can be online 24/7 and use your current location to give you the weather around your area similar to the weatherscan on TV. If you don’t have a location on, it’ll just have a forecast and radar for each of the major cities.

Now 50 years to the day(May 19, 1974), this Classic Moment should be "Frozen in Time" in the NHL.

The Weather Channel pioneered the concept of a 24/7 national weather news channel on cable TV in 1982, something that would later be copied starting in the late '00s for broadcast TV by AccuWeather, WeatherNation TV, NBC Weather Plus and later, Fox Weather, as well as various in-house 24/7 weather channels on the digital subchannels of TV stations (including numerous local NBC, ABC and CBS affiliates across the United States).

It's about the song, not Kate Smith. She introduced and is well known for it and always will be, no matter what the Yankees or Flyers say.

Love of country Today…. Americans organizing themselves along ethnic and racial lines. Ever increasing numbers of illegal immigrants are undermining the United States notions of integration and assimilation. American democracy is also under threat of globalization as the country’s elite weaken American workers and the economy by sending jobs and investment overseas. Be very careful who you elect
