Ian Mcnabb and The Icicle Works are somewhat of a revelation to me. I always believed their tracks where by Julian Cope and Teardrop Explodes. Ian’s beautiful soulful voice has barely changed since the 1980s. Incredible musician and lovely chap.

Ian has a natural wall of sound vocal as evocative as Scott Walker and enduring songs from the heart, certainly made his mark with Icicle Works and it’s distinct musicality.

A very moving song, if anyone has had to get rid of or move from a family home or one much loved, especially if had a lovely garden....but tge new owners quickly grubbed up front garden to make a large car parking area. Old roses, irises, everything gone!😢

It's so nice to see these five ladies so deeply involved in Bill Wither's classic. I collected more than 400 different versions, but frankly, I can say that this is a very special one! A great hug to all of you. Go on with this project. Life is music and someone who is able to sing in this way deserves a great life!
