To people than one this device.Is anyone here that owns it for months and can reassure me about the durability of the inner screen?I am thinking of buying it and i am really troubled if it will survive two years with careful use.I am not changing devices very often.Thank you all.

thanks for the review. I've read that the 28mm main lens is "23mm native". Does this mean its a crop from a 23mm? I'm trying to work out if it being a 28mm lens means that there is less distortion as 23mm naturally distorts things like buildings whereas I find that a 28mm field of view tends to have less distortion.

I just changed from S24 Ultra, as in less than 3 months the USB module is damaged without to drop the phone or be in any contact with water,basically won't charge by wire ,only wireless,SHAME SAMSUNG!!!!!.Now I owe the Honor Magic 6 Pro that for sure I can say much more stylish,easy to hold,looks more luxurious than the "old" same design as the ones from previous years,S24 Ultra.The camera looks much better to me with more realistic colours plus night mode to me Honor is amazing comparing with Samsung on the same scenarious!Zooming I found the same or better for Honor!Battery charging amazing for Honor plus new Si-Ca technology comparing with over 20 years old Li-Ion,much quickeeeer charging,SHAME SAMSUNG AGAIN TO YOU!Only the downside to me is the 4 years of major OS comparing with Samsung 7 years of major OS ...but let's see in time how long I will keep a phone,will worth or no,the time you wait for a new OS!Then lack of accesories comparing with Samsung and less functions when I am pairing the Honor to Galaxy Watch!Overall is a good phone,fast 3D unlock is amazing,variable camera aperture;better than Samsung and with much better price!

Hi, what pros and cons you have for S24 Ultra against Honor Magic 6 pro, not counting cameras (I think both phones are top)? I'm coming from using Honor 20/Honor 2O pro for 3 years, then switching to OnePlus 10 Pro, which I ended up not liking to not considering any oneplus phone ever again, and now I'm choosing between 6 Pro and S24 Ultra. For me, pros for 24s ultra are: completely flat and square screen, new antiglare coating on this screen, titanium frame, which should add to durability, software and user experience should be OK, at least a lot better, than OnePlus, and wide availability of cases - I found at least 4 cases with a stand, that doesn't look like part of Gundam. And there are cases that make the phone completely flat. And I have high hopes to use the new phone for years. Cons - price, I could only afford 256 gb model, others are too expensive. And this is samsung, it may become super slow in the future, like my Galaxy S7 did. Magic 6 Pro pros are: proper face recognition, better battery on new technology, magic os, I'm used to it (though its only 5.2.0 on Honor 20) and I like it, it handles the network better ( AFAIK all honor/huawei smartphones are better than samsung in this), it costs less, while having 512 gb, it even has a charger in the box. But it has this damned curved screen, which always has glare on the curve. And back of the smarphone I consider... acceptable, at best. I reeally don't like how it looks. And it looks the same, as others - OnePlus, Oppo, other Honors, etc. In other words, I really like whats inside of Magic 6 Pro, but really don't like, whats outside. There's also no choice of cases for this phone, at least original one has the built in stand. So maybe you may give me some more examples, of honor being better than samsung, so I could persuade myself, to buy it instead of s24 ultra?

Is this grip also waterproof?

The Honor needs to improve on the selfie and zoom, the rest I prefer it better than the S24, and overall the phone feels better in the hand and the display has a leading PWM so it helps my sensitive eyes. Last time I had the S22 Ultra I get eye strain and headaches all the time but after changing to a higher PWM phone I never felt that discomfort again.

Great thing is, you can put a cheap filter on just to protect the lens... I find the dial would be more useful if when you use manual settings in pro mode, that you can use it to move the iso/shutter speed/apature/ev on screen dial once selected insteaf of having to use the screen touch dials... Seems less intuitive just assigning the dial to strictly do one setting. ..

You can edit short cuts on swipe down to add "setting " which takes you to the traditional setting menu with all settings...

Hello, how do you make both apps active? When i want to watch KZbin and read something on 2nd half, KZbin app becomes inactive and playback stops until i click on it to make it active Windows. Or how you can watch video from 2 apps at the same time, cause one always stops :(

what about usb headphones? i've read that on samsung 3rd party (non-samsung) adapters don't work... on my 13t pro a random chinese usb-3.5mm adapter works normally. did you try? i must say i hate phones that don't have a 3.5mm jack on them but it looks like it's another cost saving "feature".

Been using the v2 for a few days mainly using the cameras, after reading the reviews thought I would be disappointed, but complete opposite the cameras are good and produce good photos only down side is the zoom photos. Camera is better than the Samsung folds, cameras do I good job considering how thin the magic v2 is.

Nope, it's not Ultra for one reason. It comes with cheap Tempered Glass instead of Gorilla Glass Victus! ?? Scratches VERY easily! IP68 flagship?!

Overall, which phone is better for all-rounded flagships without any issues like condensation and software? I had to exclude Pixel 8 Pro because I've heard the battery just sucks. The only three I found are Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro/Ultra and Honor Magic 6 Pro.

ONLY downside for me is the bluetooth doesnt work correctly with ebike app. Everytime I try to connect phones BT to my e bike via the bike app I must delete bike and then reload bike and re- pair/connect to the bike from phone/app again, worked perfect on last mobile phone.

There is no manual for the camera app so it is hard to know what everything does. This was very useful. Some questions: 1. Have you figured out the limitations depending on modes? For example, if Dolby Vision is on, I cannot switch lenses during a recording. If I shoot at certain resolution/frame rate then HDR may become unavailable. A table/matrix would be nice 2. What is the difference between HDR in white and red? 3. What is source tracking? You mention it but dont explain 4. What is "Dynamic Shots" in photo mode 5. I notice the camera app drains the battery very fast even when just on view finder. Around 3-4X faster. Do you know of any way to improve this? Perhaps turning off certain features?
