Does adding a camera not off balance the car or doesn't it affect it at all?

It does but my camera weighs on 35 grams. The car itself weights a total of 1300 grams approximately so it does have enough weight but you can still feel the camera pull harder on one side than the other.

Dude... I've had an idea... paint your floor with glow in the dark paint... And then put down lights on the cars so they leave light trails. lol. A bit of a mission, but wouldn't it be awesome...

I thought about painting my floor with chalk paint and then using chalk on the wheels to make lines but unfortunately painted surfaces ruin the friction. The kind of drifting we do involves low friction between the tires and the surface and the paint changes it to be way too much.

Sorry my camera flickers due to the LED lights in the building. I have a setting that fixes it on the camera but I forgot to let it focus on the lights for a bit to actually calibrate.

Hey Kan! After seeing your older drift videos, I decided I wanted to join in the fun, so I built my own vehicle! Just out of curiosity, what chassis are you using?

I have a couple of chassis, my main one is a Yokomo RD2 with a Bingo Wasp carbon fiber base plate / upper and Yokomo big bore suspension with 50 wt oil and V-taper 1.2mm 6 hole pistons. That suspension and lightweight chassis combo is what causes my main car to bounce so smoothly. My second car is my little miata which runs a D5 lite chassis and a 225mm wheelbase. It runs Yeah Racing suspension which has been bored out to 1.6 mm x 4 holes, not tapered. It also runs D5 stub axles (not lite ones) and a completely custom front lower arm with turnbuckles to increase the front track width and make it a good drift car. Needless to say my D5 lite was a project to get working well but it is amazing now. Both my cars run a Hobbywing XD10 ESC and 10.5 T motor combo.

This is very cool. Has this footage been slowed down any? Normally RC looks very hectic, but this looks smooth and controlled. Makes me want to try this out.

Only the very beginning has been slowed down, after the screen goes black at 20 seconds or so the footage is all 100% regular speed.
