Never gets old. This number would wake up a mummy! It's insane how many times this great man has performed different songs like this one and has owned his audience's hearts in an instant. Most of such songs were composed by him. God.🙌✨️

Clapton is not god. I wonder if his black back-up singers know he said that the white supremacist Enoch Powell was right.

Absolutely brilliant 👌 Watching this in 2024. Just thinking, wow, Clapton was "only" 68 years young when he performed this. What a legend. He's the best and he's still the best.

EC was in some mood here! Pretty much looked like one of his 90s performances. When he's rollin, he's gonna play some insanely strong licks and that's a given. #claptonisgod

Clapton has always had a particular sensitivity towards his colleagues, the collaborations with exceptional artists are endless but when, as in the case of Gary, he decides to do a cover as a tribute, he leaves something magical, he leaves what he feels for that song and something of pure emotion is born. This is greatness, not copying but knowing how to reinterpret. Clapton is God.

Agree. He said in an interview that the most beautiful way to commemorate is to bring joy to others with his colleagues music and pay tribute to them...

Gary often talked about his desire to play with a hero in Eric Clapton but as pointed out sadly he was never invited by Eric. Even on the 50th Fender anniversary gig were he blew everyone away with Red House, when you see him on stage with everyone else he looked out of place . This was a nice tribute from Eric. Gary could mix it up like no other guitar player. RIP Gary.

it' s kind of hypocrit that eric never invited gary moore at the crossroads festival when he used to invite all the blues guitarists! and gary was affected by the lack of clapton attention! and now that gary passed awas he covered his song too late eric

I’ve seen this man 13 times over the years. This performance is nasty. No one moves the needle like Eric. He started the “lead” guitar thing and I couldn’t be happier about that.
