There’s a reason Yancy is the godfather of Gulf Coast surfing. His surfing was poetic. Pensacola waves were mostly trash, but Yancy made the waves look easy!

Who's the band? Me gusta!! Also great videography, those shots of the sky where it looks like a rip in the heavens are beautiful. And as always, the fantastic surfing on not-exactly-easy waves is inspiring.
@Coover902102 жыл бұрын
Man those are not user-friendly waves! Yet somehow Sterling makes them look easy like a Sunday morning. In my mind this is way more impressive than the generic footage of a non descript pro on a non descript tropical wave doing 3 consecutive non descript bottom-turn-to-tail-slides. Yeah baby, yeah!

What kind of board was the 2nd one Sterling was riding, the brownish colored one? Some kind of long fish? I am curious about the dimensions and fin set up? Thanks

Good ol' North Florida Gulf Coast! I have not surfed Fort Pickens (Pensacola Point) since 1978 or 1979. Panama City Beach Jetties is 3 miles from my house. A fun break too!

Missing Pensacola from a cold, dark, dank, autumn in Canada. Haven't surfed before but I'll be practicing, and pretending on a snowboard soon enough.
