the bill has passed the 3rd and final reading by the house of representatives. Now it still needs to pass 2nd reading and 3rd final reading by the senate and approved by the president for it to be a law. Negative coz, the kid in me can't imagine sharing my parents with other stepchildren.. it's one of the most traumatic things no child deserves. tho, in Philippines, I believe the constitution and family code are very well thought of already, taking into account reasonable and just causes to dissolve void or voidable marriages. What needs fixing is how we learn and live to forgive and have a change of heart - a life centered around a meaningful purpose anchored in a solid foundation - before and during marriage.. marriage is not defined as a contract. marriage is defined as a SPECIAL CONTRACT - special contract should be read as one word for without the other, it loses its goodness, life and meaning. 😇

I don’t see the issue with wanting gay marriage. I think Christians should learn more tolerance which they insist everyone should issue. Christianity is very exclusionary, similar to Islam except Islam is more violent. You can see the lgbtq and generally left view in the west grew out of abrahamism because it is rigid and everyone needs to accept your way. I say live and let live. Pride month shouldn’t be needed. In Sweden you have pride month but it isn’t a big deal beyond a few flags bc no one has an issue with it so the community didn’t have to rally together. I had a gay coworker who I worked with for 1.5 years before learning she was married to a woman bc there’s no indicator, social or otherwise to show she is gay.

Hi @Seevawonderloaf - In my early years in the Philippines, i grew up with a number of guys who is gay. It was always accepted like there was nothing. It's never been a big deal because it's always been accepted. When pride month started in the Philippines, it showed people more that it's ok to question being gay or lesbian and questioning the LGBTQ movement. I'm just about to watch the BGC vlog myself, we were only discussing comments on this episode -- will make a reaction video but I have to do some dishes -- and reply to your comment first. I really appreciate you getting my humor, that's something Jay and I forgot to mention. Sarcasm isn't really a Filipino thing, and I totally get that, I'm Filipino, but I was talking to foreigners who's audience is mostly Filipino which somehow escaped me. It only means we have to start leveling up our game so thanks for the sub and hopefully we won't disappoint. And thanks for your concern, yes there was a toilet at the corner Starbucks just before we found the eatery. 😀

You talk about it like it's useless. You'd also know that there are currently many housing projects being built by the government. As an employer, its a duty to compensate the VA a fair amount based on the VALUE and the amount of WORK he provides for your company, regardless of where he is based. P 33k for an 8-hr job is too much? c'mon, the VAs here even have to pay for the electricity, and most of the time, his own laptop is being used for working. For that alone, imagine how much cost it can save you.
