That's a real shame, because it has the potential of being a charming and wholesome Animal Crossing clone with dinosaurs. But alas, all that potential just ended up getting wasted on a broken mess of a game...

I enjoyed this video, short, sweet and to the point. I really love the pixel art and concept of Dreaming Isles but am waiting for it to be finished with all of the contents in it, before I buy it in the future.

One of the games i want to get is tiny glade! You have probably seen it before but if not i would reccomend it. You get to build and have little sheep in your buidling lots. Its the coziest building game and is really pretty too. The makers also made it so that whenever you sccidentally trap your sheep in the sky, in a pond, or under a buidling they always get out. That gsme touches my hesrt snd its beautiful. My favorite part is when you spawn a lake under your sheep they grt a little raft so they can crawl out and if you trap them in the sky they get a littke parachute. And if they get trapped they csn crawl out! I love tiny glade❤

And "its an accent" is bs you're just saying the word incorrectly, has nothing to do with accent just illiteracy. Edit: A lot of features that you mentioned like more character customization is on the roadmap for the game, no need to ask for it when the dev's already said they want to do it but I guess looking into the news tab on Steam is too much to ask for research. Also a lot of features that you criticize the "lack of" like clothing style or coloration are in the game but 10h for an openworld sanbox game with different biomes that you most likely haven't even seen is just not enough to have a well informed opinion on.

I'm glad the game is 10$ for me in South America, so I think for that it would be worthit.

The game looks so strikingly similar to SDV that I'm almost wondering if there hadn't been some asset transfers. Thanks for the review! I had just bought the game today to try out (reeeeeally wish there had been a demo), and was wondering what others thought of it as well. My biggest complaint so far is the combat-by FAR. Really, really wonky timing trying to make contact with your sword, therefore causing your character to take a ton of hits because you’re frozen from BEING hit by said enemies. And that’s just with the easier enemies I initially saw, so there’s no telling what it’ll be like once you get to the higher leveled ones. Yikes!

Visually the game is beautiful, just what I love, a good quality pixel art. Thats sadly about it :( Its more like proof of concept than a game, Its so empty, a few small towns with a like 2 interactable people in each... There is nothing else :(

It's a shame they didn't release it as Early Access, because calling it a full release feels like a bit of a scam. Pixel art looks really nice! I'll wait, and maybe I'll play it in 2026. :) Thank you for the video!

I just played this today on stream😊. Just when I was getting to a point of not knowing what to do next, I find out we can fish out of our boat and have a wee garden on the boat! AND we can expand the space on our boat?! I was like hold up, there’s more to upgrade? 🤩 lol ….. I’m a pirate 🏴‍☠️ hehehe
